17 of us went to celebrate a grand daughters Birthday tonight no one was able to eat their food , it was awful! Chicken tenders burnt and tasted like they were cooked in burnt grease, shrimp scampi tasted like it was soaked in lemon juice, teriyaki glazed salmon was mushy and soaked not glazed in teriyaki, shrimp and grits were the worst, never were we asked if refills were needed or how the food was, the best part of the meal was the cupcakes my daughter brought in, one and done here !
Four of us tried this restaurant last night and couldn’t have been more pleased. We showed up at 6:45 along with two other large groups so there was a little bit of a wait to get food to the table because if so many orders at once, but boy was it worth it. This was the best shrimp scampi I have had at any restaurant and better than making it at home and I thought I cooked it great! The apple cobbler was amazing. My husband got a toffee cake dessert and loved it. Two people in our party got the fish and said it was excellent and the buffalo sandwich was very good. The server was very helpful and friendly and the beer was ice cold. We will certainly be coming back to this little hidden gem!

I was part of a large party. We were the only ones in the restaurant until after we ordered. My creole shrimp and grits were good except there was no sausage, as stated on the menu, and, as most shrimp grits have. When I asked the first waitress, she said she wasn't sure about sausage in shrimp & grits. The second waitress checked with the chef and they came back and said something about it was "topped" with sausage and that sometimes the amount of sausage was different. For the price of $22, I would have thought there would have been a better portion of both sausage and shrimp and grits. They did comp me for the lack of sausage. The waitress brought the food to one table, the second table didn't get their food til we were about halfway through, and 3rd table was a little while later. The waitress only checked on us once after the food came out and that was right after the food came out. I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the whole experience.

Surprised how amazing the food is! Best shrimp and grits hands down. Drinks and portions are generous.
We had a group of eight ladies for a Friday lunch. We sat afterwards and just enjoyed ourselves while sipping on coffee and tea. Perfect location, great food and desert!

Amazingly good food! Quesabirria tacos, wings, fries and chicken tenders. The chicken was definitely not Frozen. Fat, juicy pieces of chicken that was hand battered. I could only eat two of the tacos. There was a good amount of shredded beef and they were really filling. I love having some place in Carthage to get a nice dinner close by.
