Read all the positive reviews before going but our experience there w family was underwhelming. Positives: beer selection, food taste, atmosphere. Negatives: were dining on a Monday night and service was horrible - 6 of us and food was ridiculously slow coming out and came out in spurts- not busy there at all and our food was served to the table sporadically over a 50 minute time frame!! - main issue was the speed of the one cook. Grilled cheese was primarily bread and a little cheese. $4 pretzel was so small it amounted to roughly a dollar a bite! Crackers are store bought wheat thins.

Our daughter exposed us to Amberly Local 3 years ago and we became regulars INSTANTLY. We love the “laid back” atmosphere and the staff are amazing, especially Tomas. They learn your preferences quickly and cater to them. The food is SOOOO good. We especially love their “BOGO” weekly food menu. Fridays are our favorites because it’s double Hot Dog Day!!! Delicious! Another reason we love this place is because they serve wine as well as their extensive craft beers. They even have Prosecco on tap. Woah!! Visit soon and you, too, will become a regular!
Parking: Amberly is in a small shopping center with front and rear open parking!
Kid-friendliness: We take our 3 month old grand daughter and they have plenty of space for the stroller.
Went and played on trivia night is okay but not the people are not overly friendly at all they don't go out of their way to say hi to acknowledge you or anything so to me it was kind of a snobby place that has no reason to be snobby because they don't look high class all right I don't know if it's the culture Society we live in nowadays where people just don't go out of the way to be friendly to other people I would just think being a business such as this is you would at least say hi welcome a patronage to your establishment

Tomas (I hope I spelled correctly) was above and beyond. I mentioned to my date that we should just split a sandwich, and order drinks. I know this is little but he brought it out on two plates. Was very very nice. Great atmosphere and great food. 10/10 recommend this place and Tomas!
the veggie sandwich was basically made from scraps you throw out after making a sandwich.

First time here tonight to watch the NC State game, and we will definitely be back! Fast, excellent service here. Shout out to Tomas who checked in with us regularly- very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was very clean- tables were cleaned immediately. Amazing beer selection- great variety of local NC beers. Food was great- I enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad, and my husband enjoyed the Italian sandwich. Only feedback is that my husband would have liked the option to have sandwich toasted.Overall- 5 stars, will definitely return. Thanks!

This is a cool suburban neighborhood bar and grill. I went with a group of friends to play trivia and had a really good time. 12 people 9 women and 3 men. Category NFL. Did I say we had a really good time? Lol! Give it a try and see what you think.
