This was my first experience at an authentic Indian restaurant, and it was a great one. Naveen really knew his stuff. He was knowledgeable about the menu, explained everything well, and helped make the experience enjoyable, especially for someone trying authentic Indian food for the first time. The food was great, the service was excellent, and Naveen definitely made a great first impression. I’ll be back!
Happiest accidental find possible.
A friend of mine liked a place on 55 near the Whole Foods. I searched for Indian, saw the area, and thought this was the place. I was totally wrong and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I thought the other place was mid at best.
THIS PLACE, though, was SO ****ING GOOD. A lot of places are dry, chalky chicken just tossed into the sauce. This place had char marks on the chicken and it was moist and DELICIOUS. Garlic naan was perfect.

Absolutely loved Michi’s! The Vijayawada Special Biryani, chicken pulao, Kodi Vepudu, and Karapodi Gobi were outstanding. The dosa, ambiance, and service were equally impressive. After trying many restaurants since moving to North Carolina, Michi’s is easily the best place for authentic Hyderabadi-style Indian food. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
