20 Best Indian Restaurants in Cary

“My husband and I travel through Cary, North Carolina, about once every two months. We always make a point to dine at another Nepales’s restaurant nearby, but it was closed on Monday this time. The front desk staff at the Hyatt hotel in Cary suggested the Nepal House so we thought we would give it a try because we really had a craving for that type of food and we have been waiting all day to arrive so that we could dine at the other Nepal restaurant. The experience at the Nepal House was exceptional! The service was wonderful, my husband had a lamb dish and I had a chicken tandoor dish, I also had a house salad, and the best thing we had was the Momo’s! Everything was exceptional, but the Momo’s were to die for, we had never had them before and they were just out of this world you can’t go without having the Momos! They have a bar and a nice selection of wines. Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to return again soon! We highly recommend this restaurant!“

“stopped by Bangalore Cafe Xpress in Cary for lunch and it ended up being one of the better meals ive had in awhile. i got a chicken curry with garlic naan and there wasnt much left by the time i was done. The place wasnt crowded and the food came out pretty quick. guy at the counter was really nice too. gonna have to come back and try the biryani next time.“

“We have had take away from this restaurant twice. It is our new favorite curry place. We have loved everything we ordered both times. Very fresh, flavorful and good portion sizes. We had tandoori mixed grill, butter chicken, Somosa chaat, aloo gobi, naans, raita and mango chutney. We have tried so many Indian restaurants in the area, this one is our new favorite. Their food, portions and prices are the best. The ginger lemon tea is a bonus!“

“I strongly believe this is the best Indian restaurant in the area, which is a lot considering how many there are here in Morrisville.
We ordered masala dosa, garlic naan, and a chana masala.
The first thing you will notice is that the food is much less greasy than most Indian restaurants around. Instead, you have excellent quality ingredients that are perfectly cooked and taste healthy. They even had micro herbs to garnish—which of course do not change the taste, but are beautiful nonetheless. The price is also very reasonable considering how massive each portion is and how beautiful the ambience.
All the chutneys that came with the dosa were excellent, and the peanut chutney had a deep roasted flavor that was quite special. But the sambar was the spotlight—thick, savory, with tender cooked vegetables.
Our naan was also perfectly crisp and airy, like a perfect pizza.
What topped it off was the attentive and cheerful service by our server Sumeer. We certainly had enough leftovers to take home for another whole meal or at least a large snack. We look forward to visiting this establishment again.“

“The food is quite good. We eat at numerous Indian restaurants in the area and this is almost always the best. One issue is the new menu has no description of the dish. It’s a bit of a risk to pick something based on a title. I’d like a couple sentences for each dish that describes their interpretation of the dish.“

“I had lunch today at in Cary, NC, and it was an amazing experience. I ordered the biryani, and it was one of the best I've had in the Triangle area. The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and packed with authentic spices, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious.

The portion size was generous and definitely worth the price. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was served quickly. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant atmosphere.

If you're craving authentic Hyderabadi-style biryani or flavorful Indian food, I highly recommend Biryani Maxx in Cary. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food in the area!“
