“First time dining here last night...great friendly staff, great atmosphere, and probably a Top 5 meal that I have ever had! THIS PLACE IS A GEM! You can absolutely tell it's local and fresh (and I normally think that's BS). Started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and then the Homage to the Pig and my wife got the Shrimp Pasta. Incredible (chef's kiss). Going back for sure!“

“We love this place because it’s beautiful. The kids play at the nest and we can walk over to the Bark Bar to get a beverage. They had really revived the downtown Cary area to be a magical place for everyone. There are lots of nonalcoholic beverages also available.“

The staff gave the best recommendations and they even made an espresso martini (wasn’t on the menu) but wanted to see if we’d like it the way the made it and one of the BEST ever. “The manager opened the door for me as I walked up and sat me right away. The inside was low light with soft music playing. It is beautifully decorated with an extensive wine selection on both walls leading to the kitchen. Our server Grey came over immediately with water and let me know he'd be back for drinks, since my husband was parking the car. We had the lobster bisque to start, it had a bit of a kick to it and was super delicious. I ordered the filet mignon which came with scalloped potatoes and broccolini. My husband ordered the rack of lamb with mashed potatoes and wilted spinach with artichoke hearts. Everything was delicious! They timed the pre-fixe items to come out perfectly. It was a wonderful Valentine's Day that ended with Grey bringing me out a single, red rose with the check! Very sweet. We loved it and will definitely be back, thank you!“

“Excellent wine bar and restaurant in the Village District. The bruschetta board is a must. you get to pick multiple flavors and they're all incredible. Great wine selection by the glass at very reasonable prices. The patio is beautiful and perfect for afternoon drinks. The space is bright and inviting. Perfect for a casual lunch or happy hour with friends. The $5 pitchers of wine during happy hour are an insane deal.“

“First time visiting this place for my birthday when I tell you 10 out of 10 the environment was very clean. The staff was very friendly and patient very polite. Our waiter was so sweet in the shelf cooked our food with so much love the plates came out nice clean to perfection. The environment was giving anniversary date night engagement birthday dinner. Candles was everywhere. Soft music playing. Listen it was a 10 out of 10. Food was great. I will definitely be going back. They also gave me a birthday card and a free appetizer. All of their staff signed the birthday card wishing me a happy birthday. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. I recommend this restaurant definitely one of Raleigh’s hidden gems I would say.“

“The best place in Raleigh! I can’t recommend Barcelona enough! Mark Figueroa is awesome! He makes a difference, always making us feel welcome. The food is delicious! They are often extremely busy on the weekends and evenings so the volume can climb however it a historical landmark so that is understandable. This is a tea room although not a traditional tea room so go try it out and enjoy the experience .“

“Wow! This was amazing! I’ve been chasing a quiche as good as one I had in Colmar, France years ago and this was it!!! I will dream of this quiche. Cannot recommend enough! Also had the best iced tea I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My husband got the French Toast and said it was amazing as well! I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. “We decided to pop in Good Day Good Night for an after dinner drink. There were 5 of us. We each ordered 1 drink and one person ordered dessert. Her coffee finally arrived, after she finished her dessert. The rest of us had to wait over 30min for our drink. I ordered a White Russian. It was so iced down, the ice had melted and the drink just watery whatever. Our server just acted like we were bothering him, each time we asked about the status of our drink order. My drink was the only mixed drink. The others were a shot of bourbon, and 3 decafs (the coffee was already made) Next time we want to stop somewhere for an after dinner drink, it won't be here.“

“I had an awesome time earlier this week celebrating a good friend's 25th birthday here. We had the rooftop reserved (both inside and outside). The supervisor Mac and the bartenders Greyson and Brittany were AWESOME! They helped to set the place for the reservation. They catered to the large volume and drink orders. They even made a desert with candles last minute as we sang "Happy Birthday!" The staff here definitely helped to make the night memorable and fun. I did not personally try the food but friends said that it was great! Service and atmosphere were both 10/10.“

Then I noticed they had a steak burger on the menu The flavor was good but the steak itself was a bit tough for me. What really stood out was the service. The restaurant was busy but our server was incredibly attentive despite clearly having a lot to manage. She made sure we had everything we needed and I really appreciated her effort. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable and ideal for both work lunches and casual meals. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.“
