I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. I’ve likely tried everything on the menu by this point and not once have I been disappointed.“

Their wine club is an excellent deal and has opened our pallet to new wines and regions we would not have purchased otherwise. Had chicken and veg biryani. The biryani didn’t taste like hyderabadi style to me. It was mild, and the chicken looks like it was cooked separately from the rice. The flavor was good, but not my preference. The raita and salan were excellent. The restaurant is nice inside, with a full wine bar. Staff were attentive. Will be back to try the other dishes.“

“Rough day to review as it was Easter Sunday. We waited forever for our food, and we had to ask for an update, as noone came to tell us it was 4 tickets backed up. We watched a much larger party who arrived 20 min after us get theirs first, and we only had 4. I felt a comp, a discount or a free dessert would have eased the wait. Even more bread.. as we waited 65 min from order to table. Unsure what the issue was, but possible short cookstaff or overbooking. Either way, they needed to do better Customer Service wise. Food was good, and server was nice.“
