“This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. My husband had the shepherds pie and I had the chicken pot pie. Both were delicious.

We did start the meal with the pretzels, they were ok but we were looking for that more dense chewy pretzel. These were light and more bread tasting than the pretzel style.

Our waitress was very attentive and made sure drinks were constantly refilled without having to ask. Very friendly

We ended our meal with the apple crisp ala mode and that was good wish the apples were a little softer but still delicious.“

The cocktail “The Butterfly Effect “ is just as good as it is pretty! The baked Brie and arugula/beet salad was delicious! Great find in Cary for sure!“

“If you are planning a special occasion or just want a night out at a wonderful restaurant, I have a bit of advice for you. Go to Chef Palette! This establishment has got it together. The atmosphere is just lovely. We planned our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner from afar, way far.....Michigan. As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". The appetizer table was not only displayed beautifully, it was YUMMY! The salad, main entrees and dessert did not disappoint. But most of all, the staff was most kind and extremely professional. We cannot thank Kathie and the staff at Chef Palette enough for the wonderful and memorable evening we shared together. GO TO CHEF's PALETTE!“

“We did the pre fixe to celebrate our anniversary and this is hands down the best food we’ve had in this area! The atmosphere, service, and experience surpassed our expectations. Every course was delicious and they gave us a special dessert because we were celebrating. Do not skip the oysters!! It was such a delicious and well balanced bite. I’m not usually a big lobster fan but their lobster was so sweet and perfectly cooked!

The menu was well balanced and our server gave great recommendations. If North Carolina had Michelin stars this restaurant would be a contender for sure!

“Unusual experience today at first watch. Greeter appeared to be a disinterested customer, approached me and asked “how many” while paying more attention to his phone than to my answer. Wasn’t dressed in the normal uniform and while I answered him I still assumed he was joking around since none of the workers were present. I’m sure my breakfast will be great as usual but someone needs to train him that he is the first impression a customer is going to get and my interaction with him wasn’t great“

“Had a very nice two night weekend stay. Room was very nice. Dining atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant/bar area and in turn the library room are EXTREMELY noisy!!! Use some sound deadening materials for Christ sake!! We wanted to relax in the library area which is very comfortable but couldn’t last more than a few minutes because of the the noise from the dining room. It wasn’t that there were loud groups either. The room is very noisy. Simple conversations had to get continually louder to overcome the noise which made it even worse. During dinner with two people we were forced to raise out voices to we could hear each other. Just not acceptable in an otherwise very nice hotel.“

“I love Dickeys. Brisket is always fresh, moist and tasty! Sauces are on a warmer, you get the same soda machine at the movie theaters. Seating is comfortable, location is primo and super convenient. I’d snack here daily if I can! The owner is very friendly. The overall eat in experience is way better than stuffy restaurants. I love this neighborhood BBQ SPOT!! Too bad my foods gone before I could take pics and post here.“

“We were in DC and wanted to pick up some Sambusa and discovered Habesha market.\n\nRestaurant with a mini market where you can pick up some spices, breads & injera. Also, have a prepped food area where you can get combo orders-various types of Wot with veggies that are ready to take away. \n\nThe Beef Sambusa had a perfectly seasoned filling. We got one of the the Veggie to try and it was ok. \n\nWe ended up picking up some Kitfo which was excellent! Perfect amount of seasoning and not too much of the spiced butter and portions were generous.\nService was friendly and attentive.“

“Very nice smaller bar/pub that sits in a strip mall. Seems like everybody knows each other. The staff was friendly. Food service was not exceptionally fast but was worth the wait. Only one bartender/waitstaff when I first arrived. Seemed like two more showed after 5pm.“

“Honestly for a hotel restaurant my food was really good! I usually avoid eating in the hotel but tonight I was too tired to go out. So I grabbed a complimentary drink for the reception and ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Service was friendly and prompt. The sandwich arrived hot and honesty was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had. It had really good flavor and was juicy with fresh lettuce. The fries were cooked perfect to fit my liking which is crispy but not destroyed. Sorry I should've taken a picture... Fyi the table next to me got salads which looked really good.If you want to stay close or order room service I think you'll be pleasantly surprised as I was. Ignore the 1 star reviews that don't really relate to the restaurant. They also had a manager waking around checking on customers which is always a good sign that they care.“

He wouldn’t let us push together open tables so I could sit with my friends, despite the fact that there was no one at those tables.“

“This place has the best burgers ever. For the first time I tried the chicken. That BBQ Rodeo grilled chicken sandwich is my new favorite. It is perfect with BBQ sauce and the jalapeños and cheese. I didn't get onions. The BBQ sauce has a sweetness to it and pairs well with the heat of jalapeños. It is perfection! They have really good salads and shakes too. I like that this location is always clean and the people are always friendly. I also like how they give good suggestions. I got the chicken sandwich on a suggestion from the guy at the register who listened when I said I didn't really want a burger. Best choice ever!

“It's not bad, the food is ok. I like the tables outside and a couple of games there. Inside it's a bit scary for my kid, but I get it, it's not a place for kids. We like some of the music, little one likes to dance on the mini stage. Overall I feel good about this place, but not great or excellent!“

“This morning I did a catered breakfast for our guests from Germany and decided to try this place out.
We tried the eggs with spinach and mushroom scramble, grits, french toast, gravy & biscuits, and breakfast potatoes. The food arrived at the perfect time and was piping hot. It sure does not taste like unseasoned catering food--it's totally beyond delicious!!
From a budgetary standpoint, I feel like we received the perfect amount of food for what we paid. I will absolutely be placing orders from here in the future!

I do wish they used 1/2 pans instead of 1/3 pans so we could fit them in regular chafing dishes but that is literally the only complaint.

And they are on EZ Cater which is so fabulous!!“
