As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". The appetizer table was not only displayed beautifully, it was YUMMY! The salad, main entrees and dessert did not disappoint. But most of all, the staff was most kind and extremely professional. “My husband and I have been meaning to stop in for lunch, too many times to count. We did so Monday June 28th @ 11:00am. We were welcomed so warmly, you'd think we were family members. This is a small little dining gem! We plan on stopping often. We both had the chicken filet sandwich, Ken's w/lettuce-tomato-mayo crinkle cut fries and sweet tea. I don't like to eat out much because I very-rarely even eat 1/3 of a sandwich. Even burgers I take 2-3 bites and I'm done for the day. But... miraculously I ate 1/2 of my chicken filet sandwich w/ex mayo and a diet Pepsi. Ken... was all but floored! In a really good way. The prices are really-.... Great and the food, well we both agreed it was the BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH we've had here in North Carolina. Fried to perfection, really extremely moist and tender and it overtook the fresh/warmed roll it was on. We go to Walgreens at least once a week in Angier. So, we will become Happy-Regular Customers. “The food was quite flavorful, but it's in a very loud sports bar. Loved the stuffed portobella and szechaun chicken sandwich. Ordering via kiosk or qr code. Pick-up when receive text. No service per se. Get drinks from bar, including just water. Would get food there again, but take out only.“

“I want to give a shout-out to the serving staff at Smashed. Our teen son and some of his high school soccer teammates have been spending a lot of time practicing at a local field and then walking over to Smashed for lunch. As previous hospitality workers ourselves, we've taught our son to tip well, but I can imagine servers are hesitant when they see a group of teens sit in their section. Our son has said that every time they've gone (3x in one week, lol) the staff has been welcoming, attentive, and fun. Thank you for providing everyone with a pleasant dining experience!“

“Although I have enjoyed all that I tried at this establishment the scones and tea are what love most. They are often extremely busy on the weekends and evenings so the volume can climb however it a historical landmark so that is understandable. This is a tea room although not a traditional tea room so go try it out and enjoy the experience .“

“Loved it. Food was great. We got delux nachos and chicken and I got the double freedom burger with tots. The atmosphere was relaxed and all the games were playing. Everybody was having a good time so we ordered a couple of drinks and extended our stay, it was so chill. Nice way to spend a wonderful day. It was busy but the manger was on point. He was checking on everybody's table and serving food. Cameron was our server and we didn't ever have to ask for something he had already anticipated our needs. Enjoyed enjoyed and enjoyed. “This was my first time eating a meal at Culver's. We don't have Culver's where I live in SC. I have had their ice cream and milkshakes in the past.
The cheeseburger was made to order with hot crinkle cut fries and a soft drink. It was delivered to my table by a polite employee. My meal was tasty and fresh. It was one of the better fast food burgers I've had.
All of the employees I encountered were friendly and polite.
The interior of this fast-food restaurant was one of the best I have been in; it was spotless.“

“Excellent atmosphere, service and food quality! Have been to three of the four Doherty's restaurants, but since they opened here in Holly Springs, this is our go to place for Irish food. Easy to make a reservation through Open Table. Our server this last time (Jena E) was excellent! She went out of her way to make our dinner exceptional. Did not miss a beat. Everyone from the hostess to the kitchen and wait staff are outstanding. Highly recommend for a casual, well-served and enjoyable dining experience. Look forward to our next visit.“

“My boyfriend and I decided to try the place, and it's overall decent. The waitress was the absolute hands down best ever, she was alone working and it was pretty busy, everyone expected rain.

The food was hit and miss, and she even took off one of the items I didn't like, as well as gave a coupon for next time! The pizza crust is like a garlic bread, but honestly goes well with their sauce. It's unique, not gonna blow your socks off, but pretty good for a grill / bar place.

The tenders were inedible, which she took those off. They tasted like they were pre fried, frozen, then fried again. Could be due to over cooking them, not sure. Boyfriends salad was off tasting, but the grilled cheese sandwich thing he got he liked. The fries I got were also really good.

The place is inside the golf club building, lot of golfers around and at the bar. The seating is self seat, which is nice, but fairly small if your expecting a restaurant.
