“Googled "fried chicken" and this place was an option. So glad we tried them. Booth or table seating along with seats at a bar. Clean and quiet during the lunch hour. Corner location with ample plaza parking. Our waiter was very attentive and the chef was single-handedly handling over 40 guests while getting orders out quickly. We ordered the fried chicken (garlic parmesan). Yum! the sauce and portion was perfect. It's our new fave! Also had their amazing crab cakes and chicken tender kids meal. Everything was tasty and seasoned well. Ordered the juice box with our kid's meal and they brought out a small carton - tickled my little guy so much to see it. We will be back to try more items. “First time coming here. The food was good, but my French toast was room temperature to where the first thing I did was add butter on top and it did not melt at all. The mood that some of the employees "seemed" to have did not make me feel like asking them to warm up my French toast was a safe option.“

“Woody’s is the home of the Triangle Fins Club, a Miami Dolphins regional watch party club. My group, which averages 50-75+ per watch party is extremely happy with the atmosphere, the food quality, the staffing, and the value we get at this place. The management team is wonderful to us and we continue to see a lot of bang for our buck with food & drink specials. Overall, Woody’s in Morrisville is a spot that I would frequent if I was more local to the neighborhood and even NOT on gamedays as the restaurant is very well run.“

“I traveled home to Durham for a family members funeral service. My son chose this restaurant for dinner. Great location offers I-40 and near 540 also. Very nice kept restaurant, but we and 3 other groups waited in the lobby for 10 or 15 mins without anyone stepping to the hottest desk to greet us. Finally, a young lady "showed up".....no welcome or an apology for our wait. She assumed who was the first group, asking how many of them then said, "Follow me." About 5 mins later, she came back and repeated her line. Ok, she looked upset and never made eye contact, much less any kinda of attempted smile. After we were seated, our waitress Shelly came with a smile and was everything the other young lady wasn't. Friendly, patient, and one of the best waitresses I've ever met. The food was surprising. My streamed broccoli never saw any kinda heat. But even the peice of salmon was a very, very small portion it was cooked to perfection, which made up for my uncooked broccoli. The table service was a ten, but the greetings was actually a two.“

“The staff and the food were outstanding. Working on the road and just having oral surgery it's hard to find food that I can eat. I was lamenting to Liz the bartender about how much I was craving a salad but couldn't chew the lettuce. She talked to the chef and he hooked me up with a garden salad with finely chopped veggies. It was excellent! The two weeks I was there I ate at the bar nightly and didn't have a bad meal. Thanks the the bar staff and kitchen staff for accommodating my special needs!“
