Didn't care for the barbeque at all. We went on a Sunday later in the afternoon and got the bigger platter. The brisket was stringy, ribs were okay but bland, burnt ends were the best and sides were average. Their sauce here is all vinegar based so very watery. We spent alittle over 90 bucks and I'd say it was a waste. They were also short staffed when we went with only one waiter. I'd doubt we'd be back but maybe it's best to get better barbeque at another time in the day? Wouldn't recommend.

Had the chopped brisket which was very greasy and didn’t have much flavour let alone smoky flavour. The coleslaw was too vinegary for me so I couldn’t eat it. The Mac and cheese was a very small portion which is fine BUT all I could taste was pepper. The service was good and food came out fast . Very disappointed but should have known by lack of people both dining outside and in ( place wasn’t busy ) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Everything is dry and not very smoked flavored. The worst is that there are bone fragments in the pulled pork, nearly chipped my teeth on it.

The service was good but food was subpar. I ordered the burnt ends and they burnt to the point that they were almost unbeatable. The bbq sauce was good.

I had high hopes for this place. But its just another city folks BBQ spot. Got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich to give them a try. The sandwich was dry and tasted like cardboard, not even a hint of smoked flavor. I should have got the slaw on the side it was not good. The baked beans were OK, a bit runny but decent flavor.

The meal was on point and delicious.. burnt ends were on point!
I should have trusted my instincts that if you can’t smell smoke outside a bbq restaurant it’s not fresh. Had the brisket sandwich. Absolutely no flavor - not a hint of bbq. Waitress raves about how good the slaw is that comes on said sandwich. As you can see in pic, I wouldn’t know how good it is cause I got about a teaspoon of that awesome slaw. Pretty sure I got yesterday’s Mac n cheese as a side as it was served cold and it was mushy. Save your $$ & skip this place.

Take out order, food was great. Believe it or not, but good smoked barbecue is hard to find. Don't go to the franchise place of who's name will not be mentioned. Stay local, keep our traditions alive in NC. Thanks for lunch Mike!
Our first visit for lunch and we had a wonderful meal. The rub on the chicken wings was so delicious. I would recommend the brisket sandwich with fries. Our server was very sweet! We will be back!
