I’ve stopped by here a few times on my way to work and my experiences with the employees every time were not pleasant. Not one of them smiled at me and they could barely be bothered to even look at me. it’s 7 in the morning and I am the only customer. I don’t understand why I can’t be treated to a friendly atmosphere when grabbing coffee and instead start my day with an off putting feeling. If there was another coffee place with a drive through on my way to work I would choose it over this one any day.

Family used to be regulars here, amazing crew and they made great drinks. The last few weeks however their air conditioner doesnt work and its either very hot or very cold and I feel like either they're doing terrible as a company or just dont care about their customers.

Every time I walk through those doors and hear my name called, I feel like I’m reuniting with an old flame. The chill of the ice, the richness of the espresso, and that golden caramel drizzle—it’s a symphony of flavor that dances on my tongue. Not too sweet, not too bitter—just right.
I’ve tried lattes from all over, but none compare to you. You’re my mid-day pick-me-up, my early morning motivation, and my excuse to take a much-needed break. When life gets chaotic, you are my calm in a cup.
Thank you, Caribou, for crafting something so beautifully consistent and soul-soothing. This isn’t just a drink—it’s an experience, a relationship, a ritual I look forward to with all my heart.
Been here several times. EVERY time there is a gang of guys blocking the entrance, counted 14 last night! They don't seem to be buying anything there, just using the patio as their private mosque. And throwing their trash everywhere. Can't even find a parking place either. So we'll just go somewhere else.

***UPDATE 7/28/2025*** The real feel is down to 112 but for over a week it's been hovering in the lat, e teens early 20's. Their AC is barely holding on & each time I come in it gets hotter & hotter. Just like in the North an establishment wouldn't stay open without heat it's even more imperative that you keep up with the AC situation. They definitely either don't want to put the money into it or don't want to put the money into it. Which I would get if the prices weren't so insanely high. I love drinks with espresso. To pay for specially coffee with less than 4 shots is pointless. To have 5 shots total in my large iced whater is right at $12. Which is whatever but that's a $14 to $18 coffee after tip. I mean it's a great coffee house but the menus hasn't changed except to take things out like less espresso so you have to add individual shots.. Which, I'll gladly pay to shop local & support local businesses. But that price has to include AC lol. That's my line in the sand. AC is absolutely 110% a deal breaker for me. I hate the heat here it's ridiculous. Literally. So ~ PSA & heads up to any people out there who find their line hovering around AC. Still excellent staff & owners & establishment lol. But... If feels like Hell's literal portal right now so until that changes my rating will not change. 🥵🥵🥵*** The first time I came here was in 1997 or 1998. Still love this place just as much as the first time I came. One of Cary's best hidden gems. ❤️

This is probably the worst coffee shop in Cary. Restrooms are dirty, group of homeless looking guys are always hanging out on the patio and blocking the door 24/7 like they are guarding the entrance to a mosque. Even late at night! No parking. And the drinks are very processed tasting. Lots of better options in the area.
