I read about the really long wait times in the reviews so we made sure to get there right at 5pm. It was basically empty and we got our order in right away so we felt really positive.
There was a steady stream of people coming in and pizza going out... And 53 minutes later we noticed most of the people who had arrived there after us had pizza.
We ask the waitress and she went to check. She told us our order had gotten bumped off the screen (?) but it was coming out now.
It was pretty good pizza, but the bill was over $100 for one pizza, two draft beers and a cocktail.
I don't regret going, but I won't be back.

Always enjoyed this spot but I just got yelled at by the owner because we questioned why it was taking an hour+ for our pizza. Was told it says it takes 90 min, but i’m sorry…I dont read text on a menu on my phone. I go to the food choices. Tell me when i sit down that it will take 90 min for a pizza. And dont yell at me that i’m being disrespectful because its an hour and i have no food. Sad because I’ve always loved this place. I cannot bring myself to go back now

I am not one to write reviews, but this place was awful. Not kid friendly, manager is rude, servers inattentive, long wait times and pizza is mid for expensive prices. I should have trusted the negative reviews. It seems like the owner asks friends, family, and bots to leave positive reviews to counteract the negative ones (see pic). Not a good look, would recommend taking business elsewhere.

Our entire party of 16 got food poisoning 36 hours after eating here. People came from different households, cities, and states and this is the only place we all ate together, so we're sure it's food poisoning rather than a virus and we're sure it's from Di Fara. We all ordered different things: fresh pizzas with different toppings, the lasagna, pizza by the slice, and we all ended up sick, so nothing is safe. The restaurant was notified, but they made no attempt to make it right with our party.

At the time, the pizza tasted good, although perhaps not worth the price. It certainly isn't worth the risk of the vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain that ensued from consuming Di Fara pizza.

The pizza was so good but the service was absolutely terrible.

Easily one of (or) the best pizza places in the triangle. I drive a long time just to go here on a fairly regular basis.

Not Family Friendly & Extremely Rude Experience

We recently visited Di Fara with our three young kids and had one of the least welcoming dining experiences we’ve ever had. We ordered two pizzas to go, thinking we’d enjoy them at Cary Park. While waiting, I politely asked if we could sit at one of their many outdoor tables (or even indoors) since the kids were getting hungry and my hands were full.
Instead of any understanding, we were met with condescension. A staff member came over and tersely said, “You ordered to go — you need to go.” I explained that we were just waiting for my spouse, who was parking, and that we would absolutely leave after eating. Still, the staff remained rigid and dismissive.
We grabbed our pizzas to leave, only to have a manager come out and repeat the same thing — again, with no empathy or flexibility. I told her we understood the policy but didn’t need to be harassed while trying to manage three hungry kids. Her tone was rude, and she made it clear she didn’t care about losing our business.
What made this worse is that I had tipped 15% on a takeout order — a mistake, given how terribly we were treated. Their outdoor patio was completely empty (photo attached), yet they claimed they couldn’t let us sit because of their “lunch rush.” We ended up awkwardly sitting on a random bench for 15 minutes to let the kids eat, and this was apparently their “busiest time.”
Bottom line: this is not a family-friendly restaurant. The staff was unnecessarily rigid, unkind, and unwelcoming. If you have kids or simply value good customer service, spend your money at a place that treats its patrons with basic courtesy and respect.

The most underwhelming pizza with astronomical prices! Never got a refill on our drinks either. Will not be back! Don’t recommend.

Di Fara lives up to the hype and then some. First off, the garlic knots are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly golden, buttery, and packed with flavor in every bite.

Both the square pie and the round pie are out of this world. The square has that crispy, caramelized edge with a chewy center that’s absolute perfection. The round pie? Classic, balanced, and beautifully done. A must try

Also, I enjoy that they have both indoor and outdoor seating .... The staff is very friendly as well.

The waiting time is excessively long(40 minutes to 11/2hour), and the price does not align with the quality.

We waited over an hour (!!) for our food, and the most frustrating part was that no one gave us a heads-up about the long delay. The table next to us gave up and left after 15 minutes, and another group of four (with a child) also waited an hour and still hadn’t received their order. We ended up sharing our pizza with them because it was just that bad of an experience.

The staff is very kind and the food itself is good, but the management needs to seriously improve operations and communication. Long waits happen, but customers should be informed and the logistics handled better.

This was our first time in the area of Cary, NC. We saw Di Fara in TikTok several times. Let me say there pizza is absolutely yummy and delicious. Me and my daughters loved the food. But even more we loved our server, Jessica. She was attentive, funny, great personality, also gave great recommendations for food. She made our night. If your in the area stop by they have inside and outside sitting area. Absolutely will be back.

The square pizza is AMAZING, and worth the wait. It did take a bit to come out, but it was delicious! Crust was crispy, sauce is fabulous! Nice atmosphere. Love watching football on all the TV’s. Huge bar/selection. Warning for those with younger children…music is lively, however contained very graphic language. Would definitely return and maybe sit in the inviting outdoor section.

It reminded me of NY. Hands down the most authentic NY pizza I have had in 25 years. Can't beat it!
