Hollywood Taco Shop Reviews
The steak burrito, chicken quesadilla and street corn were top notch. The cucumber lemonade really helped to keep us hydrated in the heat. We appreciated the kind ladies working the truck as well. Looking forward to having some more delicious food!
We were excited to host Hollywood Taco Shop for our weekly “Food Truck Friday” and had everything coordinated with them well in advance for June 13th. Communication leading up to the event was friendly, and we confirmed the date and sent all necessary details.
Unfortunately, the day of the event came—and they were a no-show. No call, no message, and no response to our outreach that day. We were left scrambling to notify guests and cancel the event, which reflected...read full review
Very very good. I saw these guys at Dirtbag Ales in Hope Mills. I ordered the California Burrito Al Pastor. Had them add a few things into my order. OMG, yall, I grew up in Arizona on the border of Mexico. This was in the top 3 best burritos I have had inside the U.S. The guys were awesome, friendly, professional and clean. I promise you whereever I see these guys again, I am ordering.

The Hollywood Taco Shop offers a delightful Mexican dining experience, with a menu that includes flavorful Baja tacos, crispy and tasty steak, and indulgent churros with caramel sauce. The food truck’s team takes pride in their craft, providing excellent service and fresh, high-quality ingredients that have earned it praise from diners across the country. Recent reviews highlight the friendly and professional staff, with some customers calling the California Burrito Al Pastor one of the best burritos they have had in the U.S. The truck maintains a clean and presentable appearance, offering convenient payment options like Apple Pay. While the menu could be clearer about protein choices and pricing is somewhat high, the overall experience is positive. The street corn and Walking Taco Dorito are enjoyed for their creativity and flavor, though some feel certain items like the street corn fall short of expectations. The tacos are standard, with steak that may lack sauce and side dishes, but the addition of a good shrimp burrito with rice and beans has been a recent highlight, bringing a taste of SoCal to RDU.
