The rib eye hibachi is amazing and worth the extra money. If you want the salmon, they provide two huge fillets. Great for leftovers. And this place always puts on good entertainment.

We have always enjoyed the food at Kabuki in Cary, which is why this visit was so disappointing. We were celebrating two birthdays and specifically chose hibachi because it’s supposed to be an experience—not just dinner.
Unfortunately, our chef did absolutely no show at all. He simply cooked the food. There was no egg toss, no onion volcano, no smoky face in the fried rice, no interaction, no fun, and no effort to make it feel like a celebration. We could have ordered hibachi takeout for much less if we only wanted the food.
To make matters worse, I politely spoke with management afterward, hoping they would acknowledge the issue or try to make it right. The response was simply, “Oh, sorry about that.” That was it. No concern, no explanation, and no attempt to address the disappointing experience.
Spending around $150 for a hibachi dinner should include the entertainment that you’re paying for. The food was good, as always, but the experience and customer service completely missed the mark. Sadly, after this visit, we won’t be returning.

I took my two boys out for dinner tonight and had the best time. Omar was our chef and he was amazing!! We are not new to this place, but he made it so creative and different. That’s super hard to do! He is hilarious and by far our favorite Japanese steakhouse chef we’ve had, and we’ve seen a lot. Such a kind guy! We will request him the next time we stop in. Hope you are lucky enough to have him too :)

Very hot in the restaurant. Server seemed to be in the weeds and overwhelmed. Sweet tea had a hint of raspberry, not great. Ordered ribeye and shrimp combo but was served sirloin. Chef argued that it was ribeye just thinner for the combo but there was no marbling or cap at all. 100% believe they’re serving a cheaper cut of meat and hoping people don’t notice.

From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and people were very welcoming. They accommodated for our party of 11 to celebrate my twins 13th bday. Wish I could remember the chefs name but he was by far the best! Thank you and we will diffently be back

We will never eat here again. We we not allowed to eat lunch at the lunch price menu. The chef did absolutely nothing but cook and no interaction just quitely cooking. And they automatically add gratuity even on a one person tab. Nope, Kazi's in Garner is much better.

Omar and Jason are the absolute best! If you’re looking for a great Japanese steakhouse in the area, look no further than Kabuki. We will absolutely be back!
Great portions. Delicious food.
Excellent, attentive server, and the Signature Rolls were outstanding.
If you haven't tried it. Do it. This place will give you the EXACT experience you're hoping for. And Omar was a fantastic chef.
*Watch those eggs next time ;) *
