First time eating in here and we were not impressed. The sushi was mid at best and not worth the price. They put wasabi on every piece of nigiri which may be traditional but not ideal for a lot of people. The only great dish we had was the calamari app. The quality of the sushi was not great and the portions were tiny for the price. My wife had ramen and the noodles tasted exactly like a brick of dry ramen noodles for 0.99$ at a grocery store, not even close to the $19 price point....
A Cozy Japanese Gem
I went to this Japanese restaurant on my own and had such a lovely experience. The staff was attentive, and I got exactly what I wanted. The portions were generous—I even had to take most of it home! Everything tasted fresh and well-made. Prices matched...

Update 7\2025: still my favorite japanese place in the area
Good sushi and hard to find Japanese dishes at reasonable prices.
It's also one of the only places in town that does Zaru ( cold) Soba and ochizuke
