“My girlfriend and I try to come at least once a month because everything is always SO fresh and delicious. We always open with a serving of their piping hot fried dumplings and delectable dipping sauce. I always get my favorite, an extra spicy Chadol Jjampong that blows my mind every time I taste it. We always feel so welcome because the staff actually remembers us and treats us like family. Well worth the price and the 30 minute drive from home for us. We always talk about Okja even when we cant make it over that way and will keep coming back as long as we can! Thank you so so much for everything 😊“

“It feels the same as when it was called Golden Pig, it could be a bit upgraded, food was real tasty, the appetizer was brought to us at the same time as the main dishes, I lend the fact that we were not rushed out and could have a good conversation with my family. We were not asked whether we wanted something more, the waiter just came to our table and handled the bill over to us that was that.“

“I have visited this restaurant probably about 10 times and not once have I ever got a bad experience. The service has always been welcoming and hospitable, plus there large selection in meat and even appetizers. I find the portions to be just the right amount so you can allow your stomach to experience the different food without having to call quits after 3 dishes. This place is certainly a hidden gem in the Cary area and I recommend to come here with friends or even by yourself!“

“I got the mozzarella Korean Corndog. It was pretty good. It has a sweet taste to it. It is cooked fresh when you order it. It’s something you have to have a taste for and will definitely fill you up. It’s not much room to sit and enjoy your food so best bet is to order to go. Super crowded. Actually reminded me of my time in Korea for real how congested it is in the market.“

All the vegetables were fresh tasting and had a great balance together. Egg was nice and runny and beef was juicy. This was a great afternoon lunch, didn't get bloated full.
This is inside H-Mart so seating feels a bit cramped and limited.“

“If you are looking for a laid back Korean BBQ experience, Gen is the place for you. McKenna, the general manager was so attentive to our table. She explained everything to us and made sure we always had what we needed. The selection of meats at Gen is fantastic, and if you are a kalbi fan, don’t sleep on the Nook Gan Sal (marinated beef finger short rib) and the Woo Baesal (premium short plate beef belly). Also, the dessert option of Hotteok is a great way to end the night on a sweet note.“
