I love la farm and have been coming to this location for the past few years. The reason for my 3 stars is because my two last visits haven't been the greatest.A few weeks ago, I ordered a round of toast with butter. When the waitress brought my toast, I couldn't believe I'd been charged $7 for three slices of bread. To top it off, they said they ran out of butter. So I didn't get my buttered toast. Then just last week, I went for a coffee and ordered a vanilla latte. But... There was no vanilla so was offered to substitute with sugar and vanilla extract.I do like this location and like supporting it, but I don't find myself wanting to go as much anymore ?

I stopped in for lunch today. Every single worker was so bubbly and friendly. They were just all so warm and kind. Totally bringing up my energy on a Monday.

I’m a big fan of La Farm. I love the pastries and brunch items. I find at this location that they often scald the milk when I order a latte or cappuccino. However, the last few times I ordered one it was good. That’s why I gave 4 stars. Overall, good food and generally good service. They often have samples too. And if you send something back, they will fix it.

Fix your side door. The constant banging is enough to give folks ptsd.

A coffee shop should have passion and take pride into making excellent coffee, particularly when they charge $4.29 for a regular cup. Unfortunately, the cappuccino at this La Farm location comes with a burnt and bitter flavor and lacks crema. It happens when the machine is too hot, or the grinder is set too coarse , or the coffee isn't tampered enough, or the beans are too old, or the machine needs cleaning, or a combination of the above. It's a little bit of an art and usually baristas love talking about this - I do love nerding out about it. Not so here. The barista preferred a sassy attitude and unfortunately had no interest into improving her skills. Sad because their Italian espresso machine and the Counter Culture beans they use could do so much better for the benefit of their customers. No more coffee at this place....

We had lunch here just now. The sandwiches were excellent but the cappuccinos were burnt and bitter. We asked if they could remake it but the barista was obviously inexperienced and it was just the same. When we complained, we were met with sarcasm and a bad attitude. Not even an apology, just a "what do you expect"? We make espresso at home everyday and only came here because we have work in the kitchen today and trusted the La Farm folks would know what they're doing..never again. The last straw for this review was when the barista shouted "have a great day, come again" in a voice dripping with sarcasm when we walked out loud enough that all the customers turned to look at us. Wow! Is this how you treat your customers? Lionel Vatinet, I have the greatest respect for your bread and have been supporting you for several years but this is not okay.

Occasionally go with friends or just by myself for coffee. There is just enough space to sit. Some tables are very tiny. The bakery has two doors and one that is facing the parking lot brings in too much wind and cold throughout November to March.Jan 25, 2024 update: unfortunately a $5 + tax cafe latte 16 oz is not even served in real cups. If you ask they can bring you a cup but by that time paper is already wasted.Americans really do not have a concept of environment

Bro... I should have known the quality of the food when it's attached to a grocery store. But, I've only heard great things about La Farm Bakery, so I was hopeful. I guess the people recommending it, didn't specify its location specific. This was a very sad breakfast sandwich- and they forgot to put bacon on it, which I had to go up and ask them for it. Also, my friend had the French toast and I'm pretty sure they burnt it because it was harder than a crouton. Pretty disappointed at this but it is what it is. The peppermint latte that I ordered with this was good so no complaints on that. Just buyers beware on the quality when heading to this location.

There's something about not feeling as guilty about eating carbs when it's freshly baked and make your eyes roll ?

Somewhat a victim of their own success. The quality sometimes suffers to achieve the volume they're doing. The Croque Madam was fantastic. But the quiche was cafeteria quality.

Had the chicken sandwich on focaccia bread last night. Bread was so stale I had to go at it with my plastic knife which wasn't up to the job. Would have asked for my money back but it was late and they were closing and I had an appointment I had to get to.
