“I stopped in here for lunch the other day because I was craving some delicious Turkish food. This place has been on my radar for some time now and I'm happy I finally tried it. I was seated in a booth and was brought complimentary hot tea and fresh hot bread with a tomato oil dipping sauce. Both were delicious. For my entree I ordered the Chicken kabob with rice and salad. The rice was almost like a barley and it was really good. The chicken was incredible. All of the wait staff were very nice and attentive. I really liked the atmosphere too. I will definitely return.“

“Ajja is a true gem. A chance to try Michelin worthy food at regular restaurant prices. The plates are designed to be shared, and I recommend trying as many things as you can. Stock up on extra bread, as you will want to dip the bread in everything. The menu changes seasonally, which makes every visit a new experience. Everyone is so friendly and attentive and you can tell how much they really love working here. The food is like a Middle Eastern light Indian fusion, but it's really hard to put it in a specific category because the dishes are so unusual but yet approachable. We brought the grandparents with us this time, and even though they prefer milder dishes, they very much enjoyed the burst of flavor as even though there was a boldness to the spices it wasn't overdone. Be sure to try their unique twists on cocktails and special desserts. Ajja is the best nationally recognized fine dining restaurant, James Beard nominee, that you can easily get reservations for, arrive in jeans and a t-shirt and not feel out of place, and eat a meal that will not break your bank. I highly recommend this to everyone!“

“I am Chinese and this is my first time visitinf Sheeba restaurant. My boyfriend and I are just beyond happy. We ordered Lamb for two. We got complimentary salad along with it as well. The salad was huge I wish I had a picture. The dinner was so heavy, so much rice!!! Lamb was perfectly cooked and the soup was so flavorful. We added 2 more bread ( on top of the 2 bread that was included in the meal) for only 2 dollars. 1 dollar bread that is much bigger than my face, come on! 64 dollars dinner my bf and I were so full and we still have so much left over, I am beyond surprised I can find such nice quality restaurant in Raleigh. I have never been to Yemen and barely know much about Yemen, but my stomach now thinks Yemen as its second home after this visit! Thank you!!!!“

“We were frequent visitors to this restaurant, but our latest experience has altered our perception. The food arrived after a significant delay, with the rice being cold, and the server forgot the chops in our order. The establishment was extremely busy, which likely affected the quality of service. Previously, the former owner would personally greet everyone with a 'Salam,' adding a touch of kindness that we missed this time.“

In addition theres the lentil soup, chick pea curry, and various other options. Not only is the food really good, the service is also incredible. I arrived one time a little after the lunch buffet had closed, but I was graciously told fresh falafel and pita bread would be made just for me!! I was amazed and gratified by the gesture. “International market with a pretty good grill menu. Chicken shawarma is seasoned and packaged up well, the sauce is more tender than other locations so better to eat fresh. Texture is somehow great for the wrap and Shawarma size was smaller than other locations. All in all 7/10 for the wrap“

“Jasmin and Olivz became a staple during my time at NC State, and it's not hard to see why. The chicken shawarma is consistently fresh and tender, paired with sauces that are nothing short of delicious. The staff, always friendly, adds that extra touch to the experience. Today's visit included a build-your-own bowl with chicken shawarma and sesame sauce dressing .. it was simple yet great flavors. We also got a vegetarian bowl with rice, chickpeas, and falafels, creating a satisfying mix. The spinach zaki, a regular favorite, never disappoints, and the paninis are consistently excellent. It's my go-to spot for light Mediterranean meals, with a bonus of being super friendly to vegetarians and vegans. Dine in seating may get crowded during lunch hours but still a great spot that has my tastebuds hooked!Vegetarian options: Falafel and Chickpeas for proteins“

“The menu at Sitti boasts a delightful array of traditional Lebanese dishes, each crafted with care and expertise. From savory appetizers like the creamy hummus and falafel to the mouthwatering kebabs and flavorful shawarma, every bite was a celebration of rich flavors and culinary finesse. The ingredients used were fresh and of the highest quality, and it was evident that the chefs take great pride in presenting the essence of Lebanese cuisine to their patrons. One standout dish that stole my heart was the Lebanese-style lamb chops, which were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The tender and juicy meat combined with aromatic spices left me craving for more. Additionally, the vegetarian options were equally impressive, catering to all dietary preferences without compromising on taste or authenticity.
