Tried calling multiple times during business hours to place a take out order and no one answered. Decided to go to the establishment to order and when we got there the doors were locked and it appeared to be closed. However, their business hours stated that they were supposed to be open.

This was hands down the worst experience out I've ever experienced. The owner is RUDE and abusive to his staff. Embarrassing...won't be back.

The portion of pasta was PATHETIC. Even upgraded to the dinner portion for lunch to share with my 5 year old and there wasn’t even enough for one person much less for two to share. It also came out in one minute. Calzone has ricotta cheese in it—-yuck. Ordered coke no ice and received coke with ice. Waiter very curt and super unfriendly. Place was dead too.

After reading all the comments and direct management replies, I still wanted to give this place a try while in town - mainly for resounding food praise.Went on a Tuesday night at 8p (open until 9) and they were closed. No sign on the door just a dark restaurant. Was craving bruschetta so I went back on Wednesday. Asked what happened and they were short staffed so they closed early.Wednesday dinner for 1 person. 1 server and a trainee for 5-7 tables/bar. Hard to understand their service model, as there's a QR code on table that you order from and pay through your phone but still tip for regular service?Bruschetta was ok but it was more tomatoes and oil than bread. When I asked for another crostini I was told I couldn't have one because they only had an allotted amount for the night - but they had garlic knots if I wanted to order them - not how bruschetta works but I didn't push back.Ordered penne Bolognese, asked for extra sauce. Penne was a great Al dente, sauce was tasty but not enough sauce as expecting.Ordered knots as well. They came out tough and a majority burnt.Manager/cook stopped at all tables but mine to see how things were (unfortunately normal when you dine solo) - server was too busy to check in unless to deliver something I ordered. Ended up taking leftovers to doctor up at home. Was hoping for better but there are plenty of other Italian places in the area I'll try next time.

I've been coming to Ricci's since 2019 when I moved to the area. I've always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Never before tonight did I feel as if I was being rushed out of the restaurant, as if my presence was a problem. To be clear, the restaurant was not busy. Both my mother and I felt uncomfortable during our entire visit. The server ignored us, and I had to get up from the table to get her attention. She then collected the small plates while we were eating our meal! She didn't do this to any of the other patrons. As much as I like the food at Ricci's, I won't dine somewhere where I'm made to feel as if my presence is not desired.

Feb 3, 5pm, dined in, Ordered personal margherita pizza, wife ordered chicken scarpariello, daughter ordered spaghetti with meatball; we also ordered salads ea; wife and I ea drank two Guinness’; wife and daughter finished their meals and I still hadn’t received my pizza; I went to the bathroom & wife spoke to someone, they apologized and head chef came and spoke to us; he mentioned being ‘short-staffed’ and they accidentally gave my pizza to someone else; I finally got my pizza, it was delicious! They promised us a free desert but never followed up and I’m not the type to ask. We paid via the table side tablet (over $130..I still tipped 25% because I’m not a dirtbag) and I would eat here again because the food is good. But we drove up from Fayetteville (did some FB Marketplace shopping/meet ups) for the amount of money I feel they could’ve done better. If you say you’re going to do something.. then do it! Don’t wait because you’ll forget!

Supported this restaurant all thru pandemic. Tried 3 times today to call in an order for tomorrow Super Bowl and for pickup tomorrow. Phone just rang, no pickup and then call was disconnected. Going to Daniel's or Momma Mia in Holly Springs for my order!

Ordered penne with vodka sauce (extra sauce) it was excellent! I feel like most restaurants/ Italian restaurants are overly greasy and salty, just not very good quality. I loved what I got even the broccoli was excellent. So glad I found this place!

All I can say is the owner is as rude as they come. I am really surprised he is still in business. All you have to do is read his responses to reviews he receives. Very very rude BUT the pizza I bought was delicious.

I wish I could give 6 stars!! The owner Ricci is so personable and remembers me each time. He even remembers my favorite order which is the chicken francese. I haven’t eaten anything that wasn’t impeccable. The attention to detail is fantastic. I can’t wait to take my family and friends here to experience the best Italian in the triangle! Portion sizes and prices are on point. Don’t hesitate… check this place out!
