Today I ordered Moong Dal Halwa along with other items. It was priced at $9 per plate, but the portion size was extremely small—roughly about two teaspoons per order.
In terms of taste and quality, it was average at best. Even after reheating, it felt dry on the sides and noticeably low on ghee compared to how Moong Dal Halwa is typically prepared elsewhere.
For comparison, visiting places like Naan House makes the difference in both portion size and richness quite clear.
I don’t mind paying a premium, but the pricing should align better with quantity and quality.

I typically prefer south Indian restaurants but this restaurant really impressed me with the quality and quantity of food. I think a lot of Indian places give smaller portion sizes which usually turns me off to this but I was really surprised at the amount of food we got.
For appetizer we got a pepper fry dish, the meat was on top with paratha on the bottom. The paratha was still pretty crispy despite having the meat sauce on top still. Overall they went together very well.
The chole bhature was probably one of my favorites I've had. I know this dish is usually big but I was still surprised at the size of the bhature we received. The bhature was very soft, thicker than South Indian poori and very chewy. I loved eating it and will definitely order it again.
Not pictured here but my girlfriend got some Indochinese noodles and again the quantity was a lot and it was very tasty, had enough to take home to eat later.
Overall service was great, our server AJ did a good job of checking up on us and taking care of us. Will definitely be back sometime soon!

I had known about saffron for awhile and decided to try it today and it was delicious! Creamy butter masala, tender tofu, flavorful garlic naan, and flavorful and tender lamb byrani. I will be coming back :)

We came in on a Thursday night and wanted to check it out, it completely blew us away! We tried the lamb pepper fry appetizer, chole bhature, and the chili garlic noodles with chicken. The lamb was so tender, the chole was so soft and fluffy, and the chili garlic noodles hit the spot. The portion sizes were huge and the taste was so flavorful and spicy! We will 100% be back here :) also AJ was a great server and was incredibly attentive!

Great addition to Cary's Indian selection. Vegetable samosas and especially the Saag Paneer stand out from the crowd. Korma is also excellent.
A few years later, I'll just add that 1) it's still great and 2) you have to get the Dal Bukhara.

My work team and I came for our monthly team lunch. Only four of us this time as other colleagues could not make it. The atmosphere was just a step above basic, with table cloths to dress it up which certainlyraised our expectations. There were only 5 or 6 tables occupied, maybe 1/4 capacity, yet the service left a bit to be desired. The waiter took our order fine, although I had to tend to my car alarm going off while he was doing so. Shortly after I returned, the waiter dropped four plates off in the middle of the table, which confused us whether it was family style or not. The waiter could have taken the time to distribute the plates so we would have the opportunity to ask. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and was excellent. The waiter returned shortly after and asked if everything was good. We enthusiastically replied yes! Then he disappeared and our water glasses went empty and dishes piled up. We asked for water and boxes for the leftovers, and he seemed put out. He brought 2 boxes and 1 foil for naan. We had to ask for more boxes and another foil. Then we had to ask for bags. A bit later he came to settle our checks and we left a few minutes after finishing our conversations, leaving behind a table of dishes that should have been cleared much earlier.

Ordered a veg meal for take out. Although the menu mentions it comes with a veg appetizer and papad. Both were missing. The dessert size was ridiculous. It felt note like a sample than an actual dessert.
