As someone who grew up on Long Island, I'm a complete bagel snob. NYBD is the ONLY place in the Triangle I go for bagels.... they never disappoint!!! (I even go there when my NY tribe comes for a visit.. and they pass the test!)A side note: Their bakery confections are great, too; their black & whites and rainbow cake are the real deal.Yes, there's pretty much always a line out the door on weekend mornings... always wirth the wait!
Sandwiches are as outstanding as the customer service. We didn’t try the bagels but even the Rueben and sandwiches on Kaiser rolls would bring us back for more. There was no room for dessert but plenty of delicious options are available for the next visit. Worth the trip!

Delicious! If you want a true NY bagel, this is the place to get it. I'm from NY so I know bagels. Excellent, friendly service and a clean restaurant. I had an egg, sausage & cheese bagel that was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!Parking: Restaurant is located in a mall so plenty of parking and easy to get in and out.
