“Really good bagels but nearly $6 for a bagel with cream cheese! I’ve been 3 times and it’s always consistent— the S&P bagel is so good! Breakfast sandwiches are delicious but over $10! I’m from CA and even in San Francisco you’d be hard pressed to find a bagel that’s $6– maybe a breakfast sandwich but not a bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese is DELICIOUS! Chewy bagels. The two young women I’ve seen at the register have been unfriendly and somewhat cranky each time I come in.“

“Since moving to the Cary area, this has become our go-to spot for bagels. I usually order delivery, so I can’t speak much to the in-store experience, but the food itself consistently delivers.

I’m pretty particular about bagels, and these absolutely hold up—great texture, a good chew, and generous toppings. They’re perfect for grabbing a half dozen for the weekend (or to freeze for later), and they keep really well.

They offer a solid lunch menu too—my husband is loyal to the Hungryman, which is massive and actually keeps him full for hours.

One thing I really appreciate is that they don’t skimp on the cream cheese with to-go orders, which feels rare these days.

Overall, a reliable spot for a weekend treat or an easy brunch spread. The only reason it’s not a full five stars is that I haven’t experienced it in person yet—but based on the food alone, it’s definitely worth checking out.“

“Great chain bagel spot. My bagels are always made well (as opposed to be slapped together and falling apart). The staff is super friendly. Inside could use an update, it's a little dark and old-feeling inside, but I usually get to go so it doesn't bother me much.“

Even with several customers coming in, the employees remained professional and helpful. The food came out quickly, and everything was prepared correctly.

“I've loved Bruegger's Bagels since my college days at NC State. This location has the more wonderful people working there! I've been in three times recently and live to see them interacting with the regulars and the newbies just the same. I will say, it does seem that the Bagels have gotten smaller over the years. But, still the same great taste! Kudos to the great team at BC!“

“First time in Raleigh and was looking for a bar and some coffee. I didn’t think I would get both until we went to Sir Walter Coffee. Painkiller cocktail and salted caramel espresso martinis were incredible. Super friendly atmosphere and Matteo makes awesome drinks. Highly recommend 👍🏼“

“Another journey for our Raleigh Coffee Passport and another hit! Great atmosphere for studying or just chilling out. We got the Bomb-bon and The Bedsheet Latte along with a Coffee cake! “Everyone was fast friendly place was clean organized if I can make any type of friendly suggestion would be develop your own flavors of cream cheese and put them in a bar like an ice cream counter then that way everybody could try different flavors“

The staff here is exceptionally sweet! Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received. The coffee here doesn’t make me sick like other coffee! It’s not as acidic as the other drive through coffee shop. I think their beans are from a better location than the other coffee shops. As a business owner myself, I'm not one to complain about things. Especially since clients have little to nothing at risk, but will leave a lambasting review over a minor infraction. I say that with empathy in mind, however.

The gloves worn while preparing food shouldn't be used to manage the registers and then used again to prepare more food.

I hope this review is a source of encouragement for improvement.

“Egg sandwiches used to be a favorite of mine before I went vegan. This sandwich had it all! Hashbrown patty, egg, cheese. I could take or leave the sausage, but it definitely hit the spot. Hubs got the wrap and a side of hashbrowns. Everything was great!“

“I'm in love with the Herby Turkey! I didn't know cream cheese & sun dried tomatoes were such a wonderful combination. Top it off with the turkey, lettuce & red onion.....amazing 😋.
My only complaint was that almost every table & booth were dirty with crumbs. I had my order to go, but I wouldn't want to eat there looking at a dirty restaurant.“

“Overall I generally like the food at benchwarmers. Sometimes I feel the savory sandwiches would be improved with more sauce or seasoning. They can be a bit dry. Usually a little hot sauce helps or if you add some cream cheese. The service at this location is miles better than the original location. I also like how it is bigger and has a nice view of trees in the back.“
