The ladies of Starbucks on Tryon are always friendly and hardworking. I enjoy coming here because of the atmosphere they create. I wish I remembered all of their names but I think one is named Caroline.

This is by far my favorite starbucks in the area. I always get the same drink with extra Caramel drizzle and caramel crunch and they always do me right! The employees are always super nice too! Great atmosphere and always clean when I go! LOVE IT!

Coffee Frappuccino doesn’t come with whipped cream so don’t put it on there.

Shout out to Katie, the lovely young lady who came from working the drive-thru window at Starbucks today to help my senior dad, who had questions about coffee beans for his birthday French press. She assisted us and was just killing it with the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back! She was patient, offered suggestions based on his questions, and even gave him a gift with his purchase. Truly, truly amazing—the love people share among their neighbors! World-class customer service!

I stop by this Starbucks at least 4 times a week. I always go thru the drive-thru. Usually the person taking the order/window person are mildly to very pleasant. However, this afternoon that was not the case. Hope ( who I have never encountered before) was blatantly rude. She wasn’t listening when I placed my simple order, talked over me when I repeated my simple order and then when I got to the window she decided to throw my straw at me instead of handing it to me as she continued to interrupt me. Apparently, my iced latte with one raw sugar was beyond her comprehension. Let me say again, I place this order at least 4 times a week with no problems. Maybe Hope should have worked at Chic-Fil-A a while to learn customer service and manners before working at Starbucks. As a business owner myself I would not have an employee that acted like that to a customer. Hope needs to look up the definition of polite and take some notes.

Yall got a weird employee. Yall stay filling my grande in a venti cup with whole milk and then the employee wanna blame it on how crankey the supervisor gets. It’s super unprofessional you telling a customer how the supervisor feels and to be honest I don’t get care what their emotions is. This same employee on another day told me the manager was “Groggy” okay and ? Make my drink and they did. So I don’t what’s new each day with this Starbucks but they pick and choose what drinks to make. I don’t want 3 espressos that’s why I get it as a grande and me saying I want the PCCF at the bottom in a venti cup is because yall don’t be putting the whole foam in the cups. Yall need to get it together and hire professionals cause I’ve worked at Starbucks and there is NO policy about that and my sister is GM in Charlotte. Stop trying me and make the drinks right. You ain’t no owner of Starbucks you an employee. Customer is asking for extra milk THERE IS NO EXTRA MILK to charge BUTTON ON your screen.

Do not go to this Starbucks they don’t let you order water! I pulled up and ordered water and I was told that I have to get something else to go with it because water is for customers only. Then told me to get a cake pop because it’s cheaper, as if I don’t have any money … i genuinely wanted water. I have never been denied water at other Starbucks locations! Very rude , distasteful and weird to be stared at through the window while being denied water!

I had just gotten out of a specialist vet visit for my dog who has Cushing’s. I’ve been advocating for her and trying my best to navigate this hard disease. Went through the drive-thru and was just about to ask for a pup cup when the worker asks me “What is wrong with that dog?? She looks so frail.” It’s incredibly rude to say that to anyone, especially someone who is trying their hardest to keep it together and do the best they can for their dog. Please try to be more sensitive to your customers, or honestly, anyone for that matter because you don’t know what they’re going through.

Normally this location is a good store but recently the baristas there get very personal with writing things on cups. I noticed this at all Starbucks locations but it’s bizarre to be honest. I’m not sure what inspired the trend but it’s just unusual, I like to come in, place an order and grab a cup but the baristas go through this extra step of adding graffiti to the cups and with wet drinks the market smears all over your hands. Things written almost feel like the baristas are trying to communicate in a way, it’s honestly unusual and it doesn’t help baristas who might be trying to pursue better labor agreements.

If there’s a certain expectation to get drinks out doesn’t it hurt them to waste time drawing all over the cups? It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense when it can cause customers in line, drive thru, the mobile app to wait even longer to get drinks

Just focus on making the drinks, give the drinks once customers pay and keep it moving, don’t be overly into every cup you get, instead finish what comes through and then use that time not for drawing but resting

I think it’s another Starbucks policy attempting to get customers to feel touched by a unique experience with Starbucks but it’s unnecessary

I go to Caribou coffee or Dunkin’ Donuts and they just make the orders and make them available. That’s it, no art class, no overtly unique approach, no over the top attempts at conversing or what have you, they just do the job and keep things moving.

Honestly if Starbucks wants to make a self checkout or Ai to perform the task simply as it should be, the baristas, corporate, management is encouraging that by doing all this extra stuff that just isn’t necessary. Just pour the drinks, take the money and repeat until the days over

Otherwise a great store

The last couple times I have been to this Starbucks have not been able to even finish my drinks. The expresso shot does not taste right at all and the drinks are not up to par from where they used to be. This is the closet location to me and used to be amazing! I’m not sure what happened but my last order Carmel cold brew and a decaf white moca tasted burnt and we couldn’t even finish them due to the taste. I thought maybe just a fluke however this morning my Carmel macchiato was terrible espresso taste burnt and very unpleasant and little to no Carmel or flavor 😢 very sad looks like I’ll have to frequent a different location

Got my drinks fast but their bathrooms needed attention. Clogged toilet and no hand soap. How are the employees washing their hands without hand soap???

I get my morning mocha from here almost every day. But this is unacceptable. I pay almost $8 for the cup to not even be full? Ridiculous.
