The food was really good. We went with a friend who is Chinese and she ordered for the whole table. We got 14 different plates of food. I would recommend the 'Squirrel Fish' it's fried fish served in a sweet sauce. The eggplant was also good and our favorite were the greens with garlic. Excellent. The dumplings aren't worth it. The dough was too thick. And the service wasn't great. But overall we had an enjoyable experience.

Authentic Chinese Restaurant!!! We ate there a lot almost ten years ago!! The steaming dumplings are my daughter's favorite, must order for her. The best in Cary downtown.

Update : This my second review of Taipei 101. Food was so good we had to return. This time in addition to the Bok Choy and the Green Beans we did the Beijing Duck with Buns and the Crispy Fish, very spicy! Another great meal. A little hiccup cuz they had issues accepting credit cards, had to run to an ATM, it was worth the issue. Looking forward to visiti #3 !!!

Excellent food, every time we’ve been we’ve tried something new and never been disappointed! The spicy crispy fish, double cooked pork, and cumin lamb are particular favorites!

Best Szechuan cuisine in the triangle

Taipei 101 is the best Chinese food experience that I've had in the Triangle in the last few years. When I walked in the door my mouth started watering. Clean but not fancy and the hostess was directing staff in Mandarin. Service was really fast and the food is terrific! The soup dumplings were OK, but the eggplant with basil, beef ho-fun, and, unbelievably you can order straight off the menu without baking ahead, Peking duck were all delicious and authentic. Can't wait to go again! Recommended by an ABC, American born Chinese.

Unfortunately, everything was a bit greasy and lacked flavor. Tried two dishes and both were disappointing.

Delicious food, especially the noodles. A little more expensive than other Chinese food places but worth it for the quality.

This is one of my favorite places to go. Soup dumplings, lamb griddle, Chinese pancake with beef, spicy fried fish... the list goes on. Fast service and good prices.

I could give this place a 0 star I would.I don’t understand why this place has such good reviews.I might think that some 5 star reviews are fakeWe order 2 plates and. Oth of them were greasy. With not elaboration.Very disappointed for this place. I has a good location. The owners of this plaza should reconsider what king of business they are letting operate in this place. This is just my honest opinion.

1/15/2017这家店的夫妻肺片,豆花牛肉,辣子鸡做的不错,非常下饭。2/24/2024Over the past few years, the business of Taipei 101 in Cary, NC has thrived, and almost all takeaway orders struggle to be fulfilled on time. Interestingly, many customers remain unaware that the owner of this restaurant is a personal friend of my mother's and has even visited our home.A few years ago, Taipei 101 had a branch in Parkside Town Commons on Route 55. Unfortunately, the business there didn't fare as well, and it eventually closed down. The root cause? Lack of effective advertising. Unlike CARY's hot pot restaurant in Dazhaimen, which strategically promotes its new branches before opening, Taipei 101's branch didn't receive the same level of attention. Consequently, potential customers remained unaware of its existence. The current challenge faced by the original Taipei 101 location lies in its limited parking space. Despite many customers making advance reservations, they often find themselves waiting outside due to the shortage of available tables. It's a delicate balance—maintaining loyal patrons while also accommodating new ones.Perhaps it's time for Taipei 101 to take a page from CARY's playbook and invest more in advertising and expanding its facilities. With the right strategy, they could turn their parking woes into an opportunity for growth.
