Taipei 101 definitely feels stuck in time, and the decor and tables could use a serious update. The food is just okay, nothing to rave about, but the prices are affordable. It gets really crowded, especially with takeout orders flying out the door, which slows things down if you’re dining in. Not the place for ambiance or top-notch food, but it’s popular for a reason: cheap eats and big portions.
Having been to Taiwan, Taipei 101 serves authentic, delicious food. The beef noodle soup reminds me of the ones they serve in Taipei.

For this review, I came in around 4pm and it was pretty empty and it looks like they were prepping for a big order. Service was fast and people were nice. Great spot for authentic Taiwanese food!
Some of the best food the triangle has to offer. Amazing Szechuan style Chinese that’s family style. The griddle chicken, mapo tofu, spicy fish, and twice cooked pork are elite and I could eat it everyday if I had the money too. Heck, even the white rice is tastier than the food at many other places.
