We love the value, the food is always quick and fresh, and the service is always excellent. We were out looking at Parade Homes and decided to take a late lunch break. We figured we can't go wrong with Mexican.. We felt after we left we should have just gone across the street to McDonald's. We would have gotten a better meal. This has got to be the worse Mexican...no I take that back, worse food in general we have ever eaten. The positive reviews on here have got to be either employees or someone who has just had one too many margaritas. My husband ordered the chimichangas. They were these awful rolled up flour tortilla things with sawdust chicken, and some sort of watery sauce. There was we THINK, but never really figured out, a guac salad with it. It was like this shredded lettuce with this bright green tasteless gloop on top. I had a taco (I think that is what it was...) and a burrito. The taco was this flat thing that was buried in sauce and this horrible tasteless pieces of ground beef. I mean, there wasn't any flavor at all, it was like someone cooked some really cheap ground beef in a pan, and forgot to add even something as simple as salt. the burrito was also buried in this watery red stuff, I am not even sure what it was, because it was so devoid of flavor. We should have known something would be odd, because we ordered the food, the waitress took our menu, and then came right back with our plates. So we think maybe the food was already made, popped into a microwave, sauce poured over and it and done. I ate to bites of my food, i couldn't stomach the rest. My husband ate most of his, but he felt sick the rest of the day with awful heartburn, so we suspect the chicken was probably very old. Lunch was only 20 bucks, so we figured we got what we paid for, as we didn't think it was worth complaining. So the only thing I could think of was to warn people to NOT go to this awful place!! Unless you like mystery food.

The food here is solid Mexican fare. The reason we tend to lean towards going here over lots of other Mexican options in Cary is twofold: 1. The service is always friendly, with multiple staff checking in multiple times to make sure everything is good. 2. The food comes out lightning fast. I noted that some of the previous reviews complain about the service. I'm guessing they must have had a manager change or something that overhauled the staff's performance. We've never had a problem. This feels like a family-run place.
