The Big Easy Oven + Tap Reviews
Everything I have tried so far has tasted amazing.
The Staff is attentive and very friendly.
The new Karaoke was a blast. Every-other Friday. Next one is February 16th!
Celebrated my son’s birthday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The service was great but the food was inedible. Perhaps it was our fault in coming after a holiday, but the brisket was literally jerky and the pulled pork was similarly leathery and, frankly, not fresh. Hubby and I went there last night! We were both born and raised in south Louisiana. Moved here 2yrs ago. The thing we miss the most is the food! The Big Easy Oven + Tap offers a trendy atmosphere with a variety of flavorful food options. Customers praise the creole dishes like gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice for their rich and unique flavors. The fried shrimp and gator are also cooked perfectly. The restaurant is a family-friendly spot with indoor and patio seating, making it easy to find a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It has a lively environment with TV screens showing sports, and karaoke nights on Fridays add to the fun. The bar offers a good selection of beers from IPAs to non-alcoholic brands, and the staff work hard to provide a great experience. Open seating means guests can seat themselves without waiting, and wheelchair accessibility is available. While some dishes like the seafood platter may need more flavor, others are well-seasoned and delicious. The place hosts larger groups for birthday parties and events, and the menu features special items every month. Despite some mixed reviews on portions and atmosphere, the restaurant continues to improve and remains a popular local spot.
