Went today (Father’s Day) for a drive from Dawsonville GA - ended up at Cashiers Valley Smokehouse actually by accident since most restaurants were closed today.
Oh how we are thankful we came up on this Gem. We enjoyed the Brisket Burger, Brisket Plate, Wings and half chicken.
It was one of the best BBQ we ever had, and probity the best melt in your mouth Brisket ever!

I eat at a lot of BBQ joints and this place is one of the few I will make a point to go back to. When you see a wood pile at a BBQ joint you know you have the potential of a good experience and this place delivered.
Brisket and ribs were great. Ribs were not fall off the bone but tug off the bone. That is the sign of a good pit master.
I will be back to try other items.
