“Absolutely the best restaurant in Cashiers. Best service and amazing farm to table cuisine. Great wine selection and cocktails. My favorite cocktail there is the dirty martini with blue cheese olives. Husband likes the chicken livers appetizer, which is a pretty large portion. I love the soups. Fresh bread and salads with entrees. The seafood pasta is delicious with a lemon blanc sauce. We have never had a bad meal at The Orchard. Make sure to request Joe for service and always make a reservation. As the restaurant is well known for its great food and service so it gets booked pretty quickly. Joe is a true gem. Love love this place.”

“It was very clean, noticed their 95.5 rating ! Wowza!!🙌🏼 I had an 8” prosciutto and mushroom pizza and the small beet salad! Both were heavenly! My only recommendation is they get some Mike’s hot honey to drizzle on your pizza, I improvised with regular honey and red pepper flakes! Delicious y’all!”

“I had the Cuban, hubby had the French Dip. Both were very good. Misting rain, but we were able to sit outside at the picnic tables. The pups were wonderful and did not beg for food.”

“Our visit to this restaurant, was top notch, from beginning to the end. My friend, from SC (I am too), has been here a few times and so she decided to take me, here, for our lunch. We brought along her small pup, also. All of the employees are friendly, patient and jovial. We sat, in the outdoor area, to dine with the pup. It is spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The food was delicious and had large portions. We ordered a salad, the mushroom Swiss burger, sweet potato fries (yum),okra, and the fried green tomatoes. There was plenty of leftovers so I was able to make it my dinner, after a 4 hour drive back home. The experience was above and beyond what I was looking for and it was the ideal place for our visit. The employees even assisted me in finding a gift shop,nearby, that was another fun outing. Between the scenic location and the outstanding service, I would highly recommend this establishment.”

“Everything was great here. Starting with the service. No waiting for waitstaff; muliple vists by all the servers. Even the proprietor touched base several times. The drinks were well made with top shelf ingredients. The food was intriguing, chef used imaginative combinations. I had the 4th Street Burger and Street Corn (outstanding) and my wife had the 205 Wedge Salad (what a great surprise). The ambiance was just what my wife and i were looking for; and the setlist was killer too. We will be back. Awsome night. Thanks”

“My husband and I stopped in on Friday night and sat at the bar, as we prefer to do. We were promptly served by Nick, and he was fantastic! We had a few small plates and they were all fantastic! We finished with the deconstructed bread pudding. Not something we normally eat, but it was ridiculously tasty!! If we were local we’d be there on a regular basis. It will definitely be a must the next time we are in town!”

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the host and restaurant manager, which set the tone for a wonderful meal. We started with perfectly cooked Oysters Rockefeller, followed by a fresh and flavorful green salad. My husband had the chimichurri marinated chicken sandwich, which was the special of the day, while I opted for the 14-ounce New York strip. Although I couldn’t finish the entire steak, it was perfect for sharing, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made for a lovely midday meal. We topped off the experience with a delicious slice of carrot cake, which was the perfect sweet ending. If you’re looking for an exceptional lunch in downtown Highlands, I highly recommend Primary for its fantastic food, atmosphere, and top-notch service”

“This is the coolest little bar and the staff and atmosphere are great. They checked with us often to see if we needed anything, and offered free samples of a couple of drinks. The owners - and their daughters - are the sweetest, most personable people. The bar is off a little side street in Highlands, but you should definitely search it out for a great place to have a drink, visit with friends and even play a few games!”

“we took eight of our friends from The over the hill hiking group to eat there on July 24. We ate on the back deck which was very pleasant and undercover. The brisket was great all the sides were great. Everybody was happy with their food. It was even better than I remember from my previous visit. Wright before close we even got to see a bear. Try to get into the dumpster, which was quite entertaining.. we will be back.”
