Truly some of the best barbecue in the south. It is hard to find amazing ribs and smoked wings and they have some of the best. The hush puppies are how they are supposed to be made and the burnt ends do not disappoint. Their beer is fresh from the tap—worth every penny and worth the drive.
Overall: Simple, great BBQ and atmosphere. If we're in the area again, we'll be sure to come back.The good: Tender, delicious meats - we got the nachos and chopped brisket, and both were fantastic. Had occasion to dine here while driving through the area. I have to admit that my taste of BBQ tends to be more Georgia and Texas. But I have to admit, this had a great taste to it, the brisket was smoked very well and had a great flavor. the chicken was better than the brisket. The only let down was that both were a tad bit dry so I put a small amount of sauce on a couple of pieces.
