Food & drinks: This has an amazing tavern with great food. I highly recommend the fire grilled flat pizza. The honey sauce on this was delicious. Great place for a romantic dinner.
As we are frequent Highlands NC visitors, I cannot believe we had never been to this cozy lodge that boasts the English countryside. Unpretentious good food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Come for a dinner and for a Sunday brunch. The staff cares and I will be back!!!

First trip to the Highlands and we stayed at the Highlander Mountain House to see a concert with the amazing Stephen Wilson Jr.. Our room was in the Bunk House and we loved the space and balcony. Loved the elevated rustic charm of this place! The rooms have personality as does the main house common areas. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.
