We were quite surprised how busy they were on a Monday during lunch time. We scored a nice outdoor patio table after a 20 minute wait. We ordered the crab cakes and black bean burger with sweet potato fries. Very tasty and would order them again.
The food is incredible, the service was great, and the ambiance was nice. I ordered the salmon wasabi dish. It was paired with roasted carrots & a delicious sauce. I savored every bite, it's my favorite salmon dish to date.
Next time we're in town, we will be back!

I dine here EVERY time I'm in Highlands. I've always had a great experience. This time it was lunch, and we ordered a Grilled Black Bean Burger and mine was Grilled Strip Sandwich. Absolutely perfect. Service was friendly, and quick. Restaurant itself is clean and beautiful. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Wild Thyme Gourmet offers top-notch food and service, with dishes like lamb chops and salmon BLT scoring highly. While some drinks fell short, the overall experience is fantastic. Guests appreciate the quick service and lovely ambiance with fresh flowers on each table. The restaurant is known for using fresh ingredients and cooking them right. The desserts, like the lemon moose cake with raspberry sauce, are great. However, it can get noisy when the restaurant is packed, so reservations are suggested. The food presentation is beautiful, and the taste is awesome, especially the Western Carolina trout. The waitstaff is competent and makes great recommendations.
