“As a world traveler I have dined at some of the best restaurants in the world. Lakeside didn't disappoint. Steak, trout,, pear salad and spinach did not disappoint. Great wine list with fair prices. Reminded me of Mucky Duck on Sanibel.“

“We had an excellent dining experience, thanks to Casey’s outstanding service. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. For dinner, I enjoyed the pheasant, which was absolutely delicious, while my husband had the ribeye—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our son ordered the sirloin, but it wasn’t quite to our liking. Casey handled it with professionalism and care, ensuring it was promptly corrected. His warm and accommodating nature truly elevated our experience, making our evening both enjoyable and memorable.“

“We had a Shame Dog, soup and a Rocket Cobb salad, all very tasty. The blu cheese dressing was especially good. Our server, Finley, was awesome. We were a little bummed as we couldn't watch the Tampa Bay Bucs game as they have a limited Directv subscription.“

“After another recent visit, I still love Wild Thyme! Have enjoyed their food for years, beginning with their previous Highlands location and many times to this new one whenever in the area. Some vegan/vegetarian options, super staff and the food is always excellent.“

“Hi , of all the places we would like to tell you to go to ,the Library in Sapphire NC isn’t one of them Why? Because it is so out of this world fabulous, tasty, communal, friendly, inventive, natural, experiential, just damn great that if we said that here we might not actually get reservations to go back multiple times going forward. So you are forewarned. If you go here you are living life to the fullest, tasting food beyond compare and having an interactive experience you will take with you and still be having conversation about the next several days if not weeks. “Our visit to this restaurant, was top notch, from beginning to the end. My friend, from SC (I am too), has been here a few times and so she decided to take me, here, for our lunch. We brought along her small pup, also. All of the employees are friendly, patient and jovial. We sat, in the outdoor area, to dine with the pup. It is spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The food was delicious and had large portions. We ordered a salad, the mushroom Swiss burger, sweet potato fries (yum),okra, and the fried green tomatoes. There was plenty of leftovers so I was able to make it my dinner, after a 4 hour drive back home. The experience was above and beyond what I was looking for and it was the ideal place for our visit. The employees even assisted me in finding a gift shop,nearby, that was another fun outing. Between the scenic location and the outstanding service, I would highly recommend this establishment.“
