“I chose to celebrate a special birthday at Urban Wren. We hosted family members in a small dining area. It was a fabulous evening! Our server a total pro, staff members all pros, cocktails and menu selections the best we have had in Greenville. Thank you all! Jan Bailey.“
“We spent another lovely late afternoon enjoying the sights, smell and sound of the Reedy River at Spirit & Bower. Our server, Josh M was fantastic and accommodated our special requests without hesitation. The charcuterie was small but delicious and our cocktails (margarita and mule) were top notch. We highly recommend spending a sunny afternoon over a cocktail here … and if you get the opportunity to be served by Josh you’ll enjoy it even more!“
“I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Each time, the staff was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food is wonderful - lots of options for all tastes and dietary patterns, presented beautifully. The owner even presented a gift to the birthday boy as we were leaving! Such kind people, offering delicious food and drink. What's not to love? If you haven't been, give it a try!“
“Great place for dinner and drinks! Everything we tried was delicious. The sticky chicken, banh mi salad, and shmores were my favorites. There was a little bit of a wait when we went, so we had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. Every employee we encountered was super friendly. The restaurant has a nice, but casual vibe.“
“Best burger in The Greater Greenville areaSo I moved to Greenville about 8 years ago, and was immediately impressed by the lack of a good burger - anywhere. And so I've been trying to find a decent cheeseburger since moving here. Like really, all the places that advertise a "famous burger" of some sort of another: great work Janice, you put more toppings than anyone wants on some unseasoned bargain bin ground beef.Nah, this place I've never heard of before tonight serves me a real simple looking burger, but it turns out to be the best tasting burger I've bought since moving here, and probably one of the top three I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned patties, some kind of great burger sauce. I'd recommend this place to anyone.EDIT 12/16/23: Finally made it back here. Still the best burger in Greenville.“
“It has been a while since we have had dinner here, and once again Davani's was amazing. Our appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and escargot en croute were delectable. The pan seared red snapper special was amazing, with a light crust and a champagne and caviar sauce. Our waiter patiently repeated the specials as we tried to decide, placed and removed plates and additional silverware professionally, and kept our glasses full without being flagged down. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant, with old standards being played in a new way. Again I highly recommend Davani's for dinner. Oh and the bread pudding for dessert!“
“I love Sobys and always have a great time and enjoy the food . Everything went great , we had reservations for 4 , the food was excellent as always, I had the fried chicken with honey sauce and it was so tender and cooked perfectly and I tried a fried green tomato and a crab cake and they were delicious too and for desert I shared a white chocolate banana cream pie , so good !“
“The meal plans are convenient and a good price for the amount of meals, but it’s hard to stay consistent and buy meals every week when the meal selection gets more and more hard to choose from as the weeks go on. It’s like one week the meals are great, and there’s a nice menu to choose from, and then the next week the meal selection has no good choices. I’m not sure why the whole menu has to be outlandish choices, why can’t a few simple meals be added so there’s something to actually pick from? And I know there’s fridges with other simple meals. But you can’t get those with the meal plan prices. So while it’s been a few weeks of consistency for us, sadly won’t be ordering this upcoming week due to no good options .“
“For the farm to table category with a rotating menu: 5 ⭐. Great all around. We stopped in Greenville overnight and decided to eat here. So glad that we did. We had the crawfish hush puppies, crab banh mi, duck breast, and a few cocktails. Cool atmosphere with a great provisions selection. Highly recommend.“
“Went here for Saturday High Tea to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (and upcoming baby’s birth!) and the experience could not have been better. The wide selection of teas, combined with incredible baked goods - the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had! - and the great service made it an afternoon to remember.I’d strongly recommend their High Tea for anyone looking for a relaxing, elegant time.“
“Now I did go for a early Dinner around 5 pm and the place wasn't that busy. The waitress was beyond great. Attentive and on point. Came by as soon as we sat down, introduced herself and took our drink order. She asked if we had questions on any item and answered politely. If we placed a plate or glass off to the side she would Swoop in and take it. She checked on us several times. The restaurant is clean and neat and has a woodsy feel to it. It's not a cheap dinner but worth it.“
“Haven’t been here in a minute but they didn’t disappoint! We got the 12 piece whole wings with a side of fries, a side of hush puppies and 3 Arnold palmers. Got to the window and saw they had apple/peach cobbler, ordered it and it was frozen, had to ask them to nuke it, otherwise 5 stars!“
“Nice facility. Can get busy on weekends. The foods really good but a bit pricey. They have new games you can play. Which was nice. Had a $20 coupon that didn’t work. They said they would take it off bill but they forgot. Oh well. Make reservations.“
“Perfect dinner night out with my Mom and Best Friend. Billy made us feel right at home and offered amazing suggestions, recommendations and tastings. What a pleasure to go somewhere that can cater to all ages. I would recommend “running” the appetizer menu (Get one of everything) and share! This creates great conversation and offers a little of everything to everyone. Don’t forget to ask for Billy as your server if you want an elevated personal and exciting experience.“
“The food was really good and fresh. I felt like someone cooked for me at home. The cajun shrimp pasta was amazing! My friend also enjoyed the fried chicken dinner.Service was excellent! Our cups never ran out of the drink. We never had to look for the server. Very good service and no complaints on food.“
“Just love love this place! Another round of fantastic food and service. Tonight's tastings included the Tenderloin Carpaccio with the fabulous Thomasville Tomme Mousse, the Goat cheese Gnudi (paid for 1 extra), Octoupus and Focaccia, Banana Caramal Almond Opera Torte and Carolina Gold Rice “
“My husband & I both love Yard House.Service is always great. We haven't had anything we didn't like from the menu, and there are a lot of great options to choose from. This place is always worth the wait to get in.5 star service every time!“
“This place does not disappoint! The food is amazing. I have to recommend the Sea Bass and the $88 steak. Sounds a little pricey, but it's worth every delicate bite!If you visit the bar, I hope you get Olga as your bartender. She is absolutely wonderful and made our dining experience so much better. Bonus... She has a secret pear drink that is a superb dessert drink!“
“This was a recommended restaurant from a member of our book club. The atmosphere & the service was great. The food was Amazing & delicious. This restaurant had so many great options to choose from . I had the shrimp & grits and it was one of the best. The Fried Green tomatoes, was cook to perfection. I also had 3 Togo orders and everything was so good ! 10/10 recommend, I will be back ! The book club enjoyed our self !!“
“It’s been about 4 months since I ate here, and I can say without question, I’ve thought about the goat cheese burger at least once a day since then. Seriously incredible, and the Brussels sprouts were insane. Plus saving my brother from a parking ticket felt awesome. I absolutely will be back next time we’re in town, and every time from then“
“Ambiance is great, views for days. Service leaves something to be desired. Asked for more salad dressing, the server disappeared, and I had to go find her. The grilled chicken was so dry, and the lettuce was wilted. The Ceasar dressing was watery and had zero flavor. I would have ordered another beverage and probably dessert. We hightailed it out of there as soon as we got our bill.“
“Greetings! Tupelo Honey stands out to me as an amazing slice of modern southern cooking in the heart of Greenville, SC. I found my way here via hotel front desk recommendation, and I am happy, and surprised, to share I've taken my three breakfasts/brunches this weekend at this location. It was worth EVERY meal, and I don't regret the opportunity cost of what I might have missed going to other places. When it's this good, the next places could be a let down...I'm sustaining success and I loved every bite. Here's the breakdown: First of all- space is immaculate, cozy, and welcoming. First Win- The coffee- rich, full of flavor, hint of smoke, and a reason alone to come if you, like me, take coffee seriously. Second Win- Smothered Chicken...simply stunning dish featuring their fried boneless chicken thighs, perfect gravy, and amazing sides. Second only to Michie Tavern in Charlotte, VA. Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Broccolini, and Parmesan rosemary potatoes sublime. Third Win- Had to have the smothered chicken again came back the next day. Did not disappoint at all! Fourth Win- I asked an Uber drive for local food leads and he recommends the Shrimp and Grits, the dish I wanted the second day but couldn't get past the smothered chicken. The first bite confirmed I was in food Nirvana...and so glad I came back for the third time...and I'm charmed! Behind great food, are the great people. Hats off to Bo, Clay, and Alyssa...they're pros and you'll love their on point service, genuine smiles, and charm. Until next time...tk“
“My wife and I stopped in for a breakfast. The service was great and the food was okay but that was about it. I had an omelette with chicken sausage peppers and cheese. Good but again just okay. My wife got the big breakfast. It was again good but not amazing. The one down side was cost A soda was 4$ and total was 38.88 without the tip. Again it fit the bill for a breakfast just a little less than great.“
“I was there, for the first time, for a karaoke meetup event. It was a great time. I ordered several entrees and several cocktails. The entrees were nothing to write home about. The mixed drinks were great. The bartenders were friendly and engaging. The atmosphere is really fantastic. I will definitely be going again.“
