“As a lay-cook and scientist, there are certain ratios that you have to remember. H2O, Corn Starch and Water, and 80/20. I was walking out of my barbershop, and I heard a man describe another ratio of how he makes his burgers, and my mouth watered. This is how I received a card from the owner, Thomas. I hate that I lost it, but I remembered the ratio. When imagination and delusion hit, there is no greater feeling. The ambiance of the restaurant is a museum to its namesake. A table for small groups and high tops for smaller engagements. The menu tells you all you need to know. Multiple selections of burgers in any way that you can conjure. The patient and kind staff will tell you automatically, mix and match as long as you please. There is a menu for fries, let that sink in. My pictures will not do justice. My description is the remnants of a memory I wish to taste. A great burger is not only the meat, it is also the culmination of fresh ingredients. Tasting the fresh onion through the meat on a particular bite, it felt as if the slice was made specifically for this burger. The burger was delectably indescribable. I have had steaks that melted in my mouth on a medium cook, I order my burger well. This burger melted. No disgrace to the buns or the perfectly cooked fires, I would be here all day giving a dissertation on the anatomy of this experience. This is a reason to make your own, like you will make your burger.“

I live 20 min away and if I were to go to a Burger King I would happily drive all the way from Easley to this location. the staff is friendly, helpful, and irresistibly likeable. the entire staff went out of their way to help me with my order, cut up with small talk making me feel like a regular, and even went so far to help me out the door, seeing as my hands were full. this team is aces in my book.“

“Always good food made fresh! Always friendly! Prices are phenomenal! They have daily specials all week long! Wings are small but if you like them crispy this is the place for you. Their spicy teriyaki sauce and mild sauce is had good flavor. Their fries are crinkle cut. My favorite are plain chicken tenders. Don't know what the batter is they use but it's good! The BEST part of the whole thing is the Lawrys Seasoning salt they put on the fries right before handing you your order. They do it in front of you to your liking... want alot of seasoning they will do that... want a little they will do that too! The peach drink they have is good! The lemonade tastes like it has some kind of sweetener other than sugar so I'm not too fond of that. The other great thing is that they are fast! 10 minutes and you are in and out of there. Doesn't matter if there is 4 customers in front of you... they are still quick when cooking and prepping your food!“

“Our first visit to Pete's on Poinsett and it won't be the last. There are quite a few comments posted about a 20 minute for the food. Personally, I prefer fresh cooked, which this was, and don't mind waiting for it. The food was delicious and prices are reasonable. We will be going back to try other menu items because the options are many. Great family diner with good food and affordable prices.“
