“What was unique about Madison's was the fact that items that would ordinarily seem very simple on a menu are taken to the next level.For example, when I was there they had a steak wrap as a special. It was extremely flavorful and tender. My wife had chicken salad on a croissant, or nearly. This seems like the kind of thing you could get in the grocery store. However, it was clearly made using a unique recipe and it couldn't have been higher quality.My advice would be, if items on the menu seem commonplace, do not take them at face value.“
“My wife and I had the most wonderful meal and experience! The entire staff gave my wife special attention to avoid her allergies and were so kind and understanding. The sea bass was perfectly seared and so moist and flavorful and met all allergy requirements. The oysters came with the most unique and flavorful sauce. I highly recommend the scallop and octopus tapas each having a unique and most delicious set. We will certainly be back and highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We had a wonderful time hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at Happs Place. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the menu options perfect for the event. The service was efficient, polite, and on-time. We also had an afternoon lunch in the back where there is a putting green and other activities outside the bar. Dereck and his team are real pros. This place is a treasure and highly recommended.“
“We celebrated my fiancés birthday with a group of six. Service was excellent! We sat in the private alcove, which was perfect for our group! Our menus had “Happy Birthday” and confetti printed on them. Our waitress, Shauna, was great and very friendly! She brought us complimentary champagne, an oyster appetizer, and truffle fries to celebrate. We also ordered the steak tartare, blue crab fritters, and goat cheese, rabbit ravioli. They were all incredible! Our entrees were delicious as well! We got the 16 oz ribeye with drunken mushrooms, lobster risotto, filet mignon, and steak & frites. Fabulous experience! Highly recommend for a date night or group dinner with friends!“
