I ordered the appetizer of Quail with creamy risotto and kale . We did not get the risotto they served with white rice . No apology nothing. So disappointed. No nothing

Visited this restaurant this evening! Would highly recommend it! Atmosphere is very pleasant, food was outstanding and our waiter, Jackson was very knowledgeable, personable and engaging. Check it out next time you're in Cashier's!

A staple in Cashiers for sure! The menu is incredible! Definitely make a stop here if in town visiting. If you are in need of an event space be sure to ask about their new party barn that is a great open space for a large event.

Delicious food, great service and sitting outside is a perfect night. Inside is noisy and can be very loud.

1-Liner: Overpriced with misleading reviews, poor quality meat, never again experience. Our party of 6 made early reservations at 5:30pm on 5/23/2026, Memorial Day weekend. Parking is limited but this is a small venue in house/restaurant building. There is a larger barn type space for larger venue/events which we did not enter, there was a wedding or some kind of party going on. We were seated on time. Our service was less than desirable, not on par with expectations relative to the reviews. Their menu prices are extremely overpriced, quality of food was horrible, The chicken livers appetizer was very disappointing, they brought our party of 6, one tiny bread roll per person, was shaking my head. Their ($60+) 12oz Ribeye steaks were like something you'd get on sale in the frozen food section at Kroger, worth $10 max, and we ordered both 12 oz steak selections-very thin to the point medium rear would get over cooked fast, seafood pasta came with no seafood server mistaking thought we wanted vegetarian seafood pasta like what? How do you even get that wrong, they corrected by giving us 3 mussels which was subpar mediocre to say the least, lamb chop and chicken filet was ok, nothing to brag about. The Portion sizes are ridiculously small even after our server said their portions are very nice and generous, that's just bad information, dishonest and wrong. Everything on the menu is overpriced to the extreme, no one in our party wanted to be there after reviewing the menu, we should have left but wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. Lastly, our server got our bill wrong, with charges from one person to another, we didn't even bother to have them redo, we paid and left. Our party averaged $75-$85 per person for this inferior experience. Final thoughts: Never again, fake reviewers, you're better off with hotdog & soda from gas station.

Highly overpriced! $80 for that steak, never again. Was a little suspicious about the pricing on the menu but thought maybe it's worth it. Absolutely not! We were a party of 6 and all agreed we overpaid for what we got. Before we left the parking lot we all voiced our disappointment to each other and basically rode home in silence.

Lovely house, we sat inside but in the back room overlooking the backyard and outside patio. It was beautiful. I think they might have been understaffed because our sweet waitress was barely seen. We had 3 appetizers, cocktails and two desserts!! Appetizers were good, drinks ok , cheese cake delicious and our hot brownie was frozen or two weeks old. We finally found our waitress to tell her , 10 mins later we got a hot brownie, we were kind of over it by then.

We had a wonderful meal at the Orchard Inn. Our server, Jackson, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I had a delicious pork tenderloin and two others had different versions of Trout. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for couples, families with older children, and for special events with friends.

We enjoyed a great evening at the Orchard. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Dinner was delicious and our server was excellent. My wife and daughter (part-time martini critics) claim the Orchard made the best ones they recall ever having in Cashiers.
