Had dinner with a friend that was leaving to move to another state. Sat at the bar, Barbara and Jordan were our awesome bartenders. I was so excited to be there and get my favorite tacos..... The mushroom tacos.... I eyed the menu, and they were no longer there. Those were my FAVORITE tacos. I would get like 4 and always want more. I was truly disappointed. Then, the cauliflower ones were changed too, and I am allergic to pistachios. While I'm not a vegetarian I tend to eat that way when I go to bartaco. It was the mushroom tacos for me. And I don't feel like they replaced it with anything similar. Service was great! I feel like because I was mentally disappointed already, my food didn't taste as good as I had hoped. Mind games.

For vegetarians, this place is not worth visiting. The guacamole and salsa were overly lemony, though the plantains were excellent—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mains had very limited vegetarian options. The falafel taco was mediocre; the falafel itself wasn’t good, and the taco as a whole was dry. The cauliflower pistachio taco was slightly better but lacked flavor and was quite bland. The rice bowls were also underwhelming.
The service is extremely fast and you order the food on your phone and pay on the phone.
While none of the food was outright bad, it was all very mediocre. Many items were overly acidic, with too much lemon. Overall, vegetarians would do better to skip this place.

The food looks really nice, and it tastes okay with a rather small portion size. The ambiance is great with old charm, and service is okay. While we had reservation and reached in time, they made us wait for more than 15 minutes to get a table for 8 people. Ordering involves QR code, which is finicky, especially for a group with one person paying. A so so place with fancy touch.

You can definitely tell manager was off this evening, employees were loose, disrespectful and unprofessional!
We ordered take out. Let's start with the good, the staff was very nice and attentive, we ordered glazed pork belly and the roasted duck tacos, the flavor was great. Now with the bad, we ordered Korean BBQ ribeye rice bowl and glazed pork belly rice bowl, they were meh, too salty, the meat was not tender, not flavorful, the ribeye didn't taste bbq, and was chewy. We also ordered churros and they were not cooked, the dough was raw. Overall very disappointed with the food, I will not come back.

First time at bartaco and believe it or not, I left hungry 😔. The food is really really tiny and the prices were really high. What is this, a restaurant for ants? What kind of restaurant let's you leave hungry? And because the food is small, you have to order more, which makes the bill go up. It's such a shame because the server was really sweet, but this place is too high end with such small portions. And at that price? I just don't see it in my heart anymore to revisit this place. Will not be back, best of luck.

They've recently changed the ordering process. It's all through QR code? All done on your phone? You place order, enter credit card, handle the payment/tip? I would've rathered order at a counter and have someone take my order! This isn't service, its the opposite! Next, theyll send the ingredients and ill have to cook the food. That's not my idea of a good restaurant. It's this the sign of things to come in this post covid Gen Z world? I hope not. The pork belly tacos were good, but I'll go somewhere else from now on.
