Incredible slice here, big boy Benny does not disappoint! After getting a sumptuous meal, we were invited back to spend a lovely hour in the kitchen, and me and my wife talked to Benny about all sorts of things such as poetry, shapes, and his favorite culinary TV shows! All in all this place is a splendid 10/10 and I hope that every person alive can experience bennys carnival!

If good pizza was a place and I wanted to have pizza and that was good pizza than this place would want me to think about pizza. This place does not have good pizza it has absolutely tremendous pizza it is sensational and flavorful so much so it brings back home for me in every bite, so I have so many bites because the pizza is 28 so yes, yes I would so I like pizza.

I’m usually a quality over quantity guy but this 28 inches has the size and satisfaction that is worth the price

I'm always surprised that this place doesn't get more love. Good colllege town pizza place vibe with really solid slices, and they're a really good value. Their slices are so big that it's almost like getting 2 for 1. Beware that a full pie is BIG. 28". So big that the box doesn't always fit through the door horizontally. So you might only need to order one, even if you usually get 2 large pies at your regular place.

I wasted my lunch break going here 3 pm on a Thursday when they were supposed to be open but weren’t.

Soooo good. The pizza is pigged than my head and it just feels like New York. They don't miss all the pizzas hit so hard. Would recommend to anyone that is a pizza lover.

This Place was once a staple of Chapel Hill, since COVID-19 started they have had some management issues (read the other recent reviews) fortunately, there is now a great new management staff and this place is back to serving huge slices with an 11/10 taste, I would highly recommend stopping by.

I have been to Benny's in Chapel Hill many times before but this was a horrible experience. Not only did I get my pizza after 3 other people who ordered after me (they all got pepperoni too) but it was also very undercooked and made me feel sick. Not only that but the staff were extremely rude and even said "I guess so" when my friend asked for a to go box. I am considering never going to this Benny's again even though i love going.

I went in with my daughter a few weeks ago for lunch and frankly I am sure the owners should be notified of the state their employee was in. The young lady working there was very clearly inebriated on some kind of substance. She was bumping into things, seemed to be forgetting where she was and what she was doing, and largely incoherent. The resulting food was burned. Rather than make a scene I paid for our meal and we promptly left.

Came in looking for a quick meal, ended up staying for almost an hour because I enjoyed the atmosphere so much. The employee was very kind, professional and polite, and the pizza was great.

Used to love this place. Came in on Valentine's day for a quick snack to tie me and my gf over before dinner. We got there at 2:15, and left at 5:00. Despite asking numerous times, the general manager took that entire period to get our order to us. There was nobody else at the restaurant, and we were under the impression that she was VERY high. At one point, she left the restaurant to look for her phone, locked the door, came back, relocked the door, and then panicked when she found the door locked, bizarrely asking us to leave soon because "the door shouldn't be locked". She also kept forgetting our order and we had to remind her 4 times. Finally, we got our pizza, half charred each, and someone arrived to take over her shift. On arrival, he had to unlock the door, asked us if were locked in, and proceeded to pull out two black pizzas that seemed to have been in the oven since we got there. The general manager IMMEDIATELY left, and the new guy profusely apologized after we explained what had happened. Tldr ; only come here at night, when everybody else works. Then, it's pretty solid, three stars.
