Bonchon Chapel Hill

The chicken was crunchy and fresh but flavorless. I had two types. One had red pepper sauce on it. The other was plain. The one with red pepper sauce was good. Unfortunately the regular fried had absolutely no taste. No salt or anything. I didn't even taste chicken. Was disappointed.

Back again for the third time! Never disappointed! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious 😋 😋 😋.... Plus, the service is always great! If you're ever on Franklin St., in Chapel Hill, go check them out!

This was our first time dining there, as a recommendation from someone. I must say.. we were not disappointed! Bon Chon has the BEST chicken wings on Franklin St., in Chapel Hill (or any other chicken place that I've tried). Korean Fried Chicken is perfectly crispy and flavorful and they have a great selection of sauces; we tried the soy garlic and Korean BBQ on the chicken, and the Yangnyeom sauce on the Potstickers.... soooo delicious 😋 Additionally, we had the Bulgogi House Fried Rice. All of the dishes we tried were finger-lickingly (if that's a word lol) delicious!!! What a treat! We're definitely going back! Our server, Antonio, was the best!

We love korean food ever since we visited Seoul in early 2000s; so, whenever possible, we try korean restaurants during our travels. Bonchon's bulgogi was delicious! Tender beef, lots of veggies and generous portions for a reasonable price. The potstickers with soy garlic sauce were also very tasty. Manuel was very attentive and courteous making our dinning experience more enjoyable.

The place was super clean. I saw them wiping the table and the chairs, as well as sweeping under the table while they had like 20 customers. It wasnt a long wait for the food either. Also, the bathrooms were really clean, like super clean. They fried the chicken fresh and it came super crispy and the tebbokii was a good texture and had a building heat. Great experience.

Went with some friends by one of their recommendations. Was not disappointed! Really crispy fried chicken, sauce was the heat as advertised......enough for a little nasal drip, which is perfect for me. Portions were large! And a friend has Bibimbap which came out sizzling in a hot stone bowl.

Friendly service, super clean restaurant. Will be back!!
