A good ambiance for a relaxing lunch with a friend. Bright, fun place, nice staff. Good menu, both healthy and fun options. I had the steak sandwich with fries. The fries were great, I liked the sandwich but thought it was a little light on the steak. Overall a good lunch option (with parking).
I love Breakaway and have been a loyal patron for many years! But I am disappointed lately in the increase in prices and decrease in portions. My husband and I paid close to $50 for breakfast and 2 coffee drinks this morning. We both had scrambles and we both got one pitiful piece of toast each. This place used to provide 3 or at least 2 pieces of toast. I used to be willing to pay “extra” to eat here but I’m not sure we can any longer.
Visited this location for lunch, and was less than impressed. Our table had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich w/fries, cream of potato soup, cascade sald, and lavender latte. The sandwich was okay, but lacked the flavor and moistness southern buttermilk friend chicken. The salad was fine. The cream of potato soup, tasted like cream water, lacking actual potato flavor. Highlight of the dish were the fries, which were fantastic. And the lavendar latte was good as well....
