I ordered a cranberry muffin, but received a blueberry muffin. That was okish, I like both. The coffee and seating area was ok, but the other guests were just draining to be around. It was a very unwelcoming environment, much to our surprise.

A few days ago, we went to Driade caffé. I ordered a cappuccino, my wife got an herbal tea, and we ordered a ginger soda for our daughter.

At first, we actually wanted to get her a hot chocolate, so we asked the barista how sweet it was. He said it wasn’t too sweet and that they could adjust the sweetness. So we made it clear that we didn’t want anything too sugary. Then, during the conversation, we decided to go with the ginger soda instead. The server saw that we were concerned about sugar but didn’t mention that the ginger soda was actually super sweet. When we got it, we saw that the small can (about 8-12 oz) had 30 grams of sugar, which was just crazy. And the server didn’t even think to mention it.

As for the drinks, I ordered a cappuccino to go with an extra shot, but they served it in a regular cup instead. I prefer drinking from a to-go cup, just personal preference, but they ignored that request. My wife said her herbal tea tasted really watered down—more ice, more water, and not much actual tea flavor.

Our friends also ordered three different drinks, and they have a daughter too. They specifically asked for her drink to be made at kid’s temperature, so it wouldn’t be too hot. But the servers ended up making all the drinks at kid’s temperature—including the ones for adults. That was kind of weird, because if someone orders a cappuccino or latte, it’s probably not for a kid. You’d expect a hot chocolate for a kid, not a cappuccino.

Overall, it just felt like the baristas weren’t really paying attention to the orders. Maybe that’s not part of their job, but we’ve definitely had better service at other places.

This used to be my favorite coffee spot. They fired all the experienced barriers and they coffee is now hit and miss. The last two visits I threw my coffee away—flavorless. Desserts are a lot of 9th St Bakery things they get delivered—very mid. The settings is still very beautiful. And there’s access to the walking path. I hope they find their way again.

Scenic, amidst nature, perfect way to spend that sunny day in winters specifically in durham/ chapel hill.
Hike a little, treat yourself to the coffee and flavourful muffin.

All our drinks are warm not hot. They forgot to put syrup in my latte which costs me 1 dollar. Chai latte is 6 dollars. This is totally overpriced. Even Starbucks does a better job. I don’t get all the hype about this place.

I visited the cafe for the first time today. I ordered the brown sugar latte and a butter croissant.

The coffee was okay, the butter croissant was kind of hard (surprisingly hard and borderline scone like), the service was good even if the wait was long, and the outdoor seating was pretty cool even if was too cold to sit outside this day.

There are heaters outside but they didn’t warm me up enough on this cold day, so I headed back inside. There isn’t a lot of seating inside, so inside seating likely will not always be an option.

Even with the coffee just being okay and the croissant being bad, I give them 4 stars because of uniqueness of the cafe and the outside setting.

My niece took me here so we can get a little hike on. We stopped by to get latte. I think this coffee shop is lucky enough to be located right in the middle of this mini forest. For nature enthusiasts who loves coffee as well, they hit the jackpot. Service was poor, place was dirty which is concerning but all that was compensated by the area outside the shop where you can sit and enjoy nature. Other than that, I wasn’t a fan of their lattes at least the one I ordered. Overrated coffee shop but maybe because there’s really no other choice in the area.

A great hideaway coffee place. Quirky, with a hippy vibe and a relaxing and spacious outdoor in the woods area. Well prepared coffee from Carrboro Roasters Small but great selection of pastries too.

The chai is terrible. Do not get the chai alert alert. Do not get the chai. But the atmosphere is nice. The sitting areas are nice, but do not get the chai.

Parking: Parking is crammed. I’d be scared if I drove there. Do not come to this café.

Great cafe to enjoy good coffee and meet up with friends in a forest surrounding. It can be quite busy during weekends even with many outdoor seating. There's a stairway to a lower level for more outdoor seating amidst the trees.
