We had a great time , service was great staff was friendly. Would go often if I lived in Carolina
We were literally passing through Chapel Hill on the way to Charlotte. Carolina Brewery had availability, so we headed in. So glad that we did. Very comfortable and casual. Despite being crowded we were sat immediately in a comfortable booth. Our serve was great, very attentive and our dinner was delicious. This is a great spot.
Arrived and was taken to our table right away. Server got our drink order and gave us time to casually read the menu. Food came to us within about 20 min. Everything was delicious, I had salmon with dirty rice and kale, and the two others at our table had burgers. We were all happy with our meal. Would definitely return!
Came with old friends from out of town. My wife and I split the fish and chips and the harissa chicken bowl. The fries were greasy and undercooked. The harissa bowl seemed like it was hastily assembled by an inexperienced kitchen worker. There was water in the bottom of the bowl (from the lettuce?) and it got soaked into the pita bread. The chicken was way overcooked and stringy (and tasteless). I would normally have sent it all back but did not wish to make a fuss with our friends there. $44 with tip, no drinks.
Staff had great recommendations for drinks and food. The restaurant was not accessibly loud. But it was lively.
Reserved table outside. Seated inside upstairs. Waited an hour for food. Upstairs ladies room disgusting. Downstairs not much better. Husband used restroom and saw a kitchen worker leave without washing hands. Never again!
Our food took almost an hour to come and was stone cold. The fries were burned but also stone cold. We settled for our drink and called it a night, won't be returning. On top of it my order was wrong but sadly kind of irrelevant at that point.
Server was great, space is cool if you wanna catch a game. Beer and food selection was disappointing as they were short on several listed items. We got a burger, quesadilla, pork sandwich, a caesar salad, and a cheese cake. Burger was the best of the options, everything else was just ok. The burger was really good though, so if you want a burger, a brew, and to watch some ball, I'd recommend.
Our arrival and seating were uneventful, although we had requested a booth and got a table next to the door and hostess stand that's why I request booths.
Drinks from the bar were readily available, but the cocktail selection was surprisingly limited, with only three options.
The food was hit-or-miss. The Elk burger was bland, and the fries were served stone-cold, requiring a re-order. The Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries were passable. The chicken sandwich, which was quickly devoured, seemed to be the only redeeming dish, although its accompanying fries were again cold and had to be re-ordered. The steak frites were adequate. The made in house BBQ sauce was either to acidic or overpowering mustard flavor.
We asked for Sweet Baby Ray's, which they had.
To make matters worse, the restaurant service was painfully slow. We waited nearly 10 minutes to be served and 15 for the check, which only arrived after I got up and approached the bar. It seemed that the staff were too distracted by their own conversations to attend to our needs.
Overall, our experience was underwhelming, and we left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Coming back to Chapel Hill in early July, I'm unsure if to give this place another try.

We visited on a Saturday night and the brewery was out of many of their beers on tap. What?!? The grilled chicken sandwich was nothing more than a grilled slice of deli meat which was unacceptable! The burgers were ok.
Very disappointed since this place was highly rated and reviewed.

Didn’t order - not very busy, but sat at the bar for 10 minutes while the bartender provided menus and service to two other couples who sat down after, without any acknowledgment of our presence. Plenty of other places to spend money in the area with at least a basic level of service.

A solidly good restaurant. The bloody mary was particularly good. I'll be going back.

We came here for dinner and it was pretty good. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. We made reservations which we suggest doing. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered the salmon and chicken tenders. The salmon was really good and perfectly seasoned but the rice was cold. The chicken tenders and fries lacked flavor. The server was attentive until our food was delivered and then we had to flag him down to get anything else. Overall it was ok.

Great experience! Our server was prompt, the food was delicious, & great atmosphere for watching the game!
Good experience. It was slammed as it was UNC game day. Loved the free shuttle to and from stadium!
