Absolutely love the food here, and the price is pretty good. The horchata is great and one of my go-tos here. Also, the desserts are legendary: churros are made fresh and the flan is one of the best I've ever had. Overall, this place has a great vibe and it's one of if not my favorite spots in Franklin street.

This place in Chapel Hill has a very good Vegan Platter. It was delicious and I liked it a lot. Beans, guacamole, rice and salsa.
Prices were a bit high but on par with the rest of restaurants in Chapel Hill on Franklin.
There is nowhere to sit and eat unless you are extremely lucky. Their few tables were occupied the entire time we were waiting for our order which we got to go because of the lack of seating.
Music was loud.
Restroom was clean.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had! Three out of four of my friends and I got food poisoning from the burritos, and when I brought it up to the manager, Yeshua, he dismissed my concerns, claiming I was bluffing. To make matters worse, there are numerous reviews from other customers reporting the same issue.
Went there last night with a group of friends after the gym because they are the few places on franklin street open late. Everything was great, we enjoyed it but here’s the reason for the low rating. Out of the 5 of us, 4 of us started experiencing symptoms of food poisoning. Sending some of us to urgent care and in my case the hospital because of how terrible the symptoms are. One of my friends very upset that we went for from feeling amazing to the majority of us being bed ridden decided to call the restaurant and talk to the manager. The manager proceeded to tell my friend that we were “bluffing” and it’s sad to see. It’s not first time we’ve been here but sadly it will be the last time. Do better cosmic cantina.

Hey, it's on the main drag of a college town -- probably fine for college students, but we were visiting from California, so I suppose we expected more. The chicken quesadilla was dry and rather bland. The steak burrito was mushy from too much beans.

Food was good, service was fast once we ordered however the cashiers were not as friendly. We ordered a steak burrito. Food was hot and it tasted good.
Parking: If you go after 6:00 parking is free.

$40 for a chicken quesadilla with salsa, 2 cokes, and some chicken nachos. Food was trash like cafeteria food. Pico was not pico, chicken was like it was out of a can. This place use to be 🔥 it’s not good at all.

I love everything about Cosmic Cantina! The quality of food is amazing considering how low the price is. The service is quick and they don't skimp on portions. My only minor complaint is that they sometimes blast the music a bit too loud for me, but overall, the atmosphere is pretty great too.

Very underwhelming. We went there last night after a show at Cat's Cradle. It was before 11 and the place stays open until 3. While the artwork was cool, and the bar was cute, the menu was a little confusing and the food not good. We did not order our food to go, but everything came out bagged. We ate it there anyway, but had to go find silverware and napkins as they were not provided. Our queso was stone cold and the steak tasted a little weird. The burritos were large, beans and rice were fine, but overall not impressive. We were give new queso that was luke warm. Based on the reviews, this place used to be good. I wish it still was. We will not come back, but I hope they turn it around.

The new location is much nicer/fancier, but the food is still just as good. Great place to grab a quick bite. New outdoor seating is great, a rare occurrence on Franklin Street these days
