I recently stayed at the Carolina Inn for work and had the opportunity to dine at their on-site restaurant, Crossroads. Upon arriving late at 7:45 PM, the front desk staff informed me that the restaurant was open until 9 PM, with room service available until 10 PM.

If you come for the burger avoid Wednesday nights. I came last Friday and it was perfect so decided to return last night - big mistake. It’s like they ran out of meat so put half a pattie on that they burned on one side. Awful. Still cost me $25 but I’ll never return on a Wednesday. Funniest part of it was that they were empty last night compared to Friday which was jammed. No excuses for poor quality on an empty night.Now we know…
A decent brunch, but kind of expensive at $30 a person. I also thought it was a little ridiculous to require a 20% gratuity payment for a buffet. The server brought us water and coffee and took away our plates and that was it. I probably would have added on a similar tip anyway but it seems wrong to add it to the bill automatically for a party of three people.
