despite our original intention of going to tarantini, we were directed here by the owner because they were overbooked and oh my gosh: this was some of the best food I've had in my life. not to mention, the decor was very cozy and homey. shown below is the lamb shank risotto and the herb chicken milanese and gnocchi. the lamb fell straight off the bone and was the softest meat I've had in my life. the risotto was creamy (as promised) and the pesto gnocchi came with a piece of fried chicken, along with burrata which was an interesting combo that turned out to be tasty. not pictured but tasted was the classis burger with fries, lasagna, and ragu special. the burger had an insane patty that somehow was still juicy and tasty. the fries were crispy AND they were salted as fries should be. summary: 😋😋😋

Terrible experience here recently, however we’ve had good experiences prior. Drinks took over 15 minutes to come out, and one of them was wrong. Entrees came out, one with a hair, and it took over 20 minutes to have it replaced. The salad we were supposed to get before our entrees came out after that. Waitress didn’t seem to know why drinks were wrong, why food didn’t come out in proper order or why it took so long for the replacement dish to come out. Just poor service and terrible food experience. Hope this doesn’t continue!

Great for Group Outings was there with a group of 30, they managed everything just fine - individual checks and all. Nice atmosphere. I was also there with a larger group and a fixed, pre-selected menu. Again they did very well managing the side orders and split checks. Entrees all arrived at the same time at each table. Kudos!

Good food, good seevice, and pleasant atmosphere.

Recently attended a baby shower there. Their side room was the perfect size for our small group, and their food was well received. I can't speak for others, but mine (shrimp and grits) was a solid 8/10, it just really needed pepper/white pepper.

Their service, though, was quite stellar...not intrusive, but present and they checked in with us often. We honestly did not know we were closing down the place until we stepped out of that room; the servers were gracious enough to let us have our full time and a bit more while they cleaned in other areas. Very thoughtful to our needs.

Wonderful place ! I will be sure to come back to try different dishes. I went to a birthday celebration and everything was excellent. The staff, the food, and ambience. I ordered the delicious Tomato Bisque, Asian Salad with Shrimp and omg the DELICIOUS Lava Cake with a cappuccino. 100 % recommended!

Wonderful brunch with friends, I had the fried green tomatoes (wish I had ordered them without the melted pimento cheese - it was too much) but the tomato bisque with basil oil was so good. The service is quite good, try to ask for a seat away from the door - it was constantly opening as a member of the staff kept going outside (it was in the 30's).

Have really liked this place in the past. Went back recently after not having been there for some months. The service has really deteriorated. Slow. Inattentive. And just plain poor. Table not set properly. No cutlery despite bread and butter delivered while awaiting main courses. Hard to get the staffs attention. Running around busy busy. No napkins. Asked for water with no ice “I’ll bring it later” - never appeared. Food delivered cool not hot but we had waited so long at that stage we just ate it. The excuse for some confusion about one order when delivered to the table was “you know that server doesn’t speak English”.
So this restaurant needs to up its service again. What a pity because its decor / ambience is very good. Food has been good in the past but it needs to be hot. (Eg Fries and steak frites).
