Have really liked this place in the past. Went back recently after not having been there for some months. The service has really deteriorated. Slow. Inattentive. And just plain poor. Table not set properly. No cutlery despite bread and butter delivered while awaiting main courses. Hard to get the staffs attention. Running around busy busy. No napkins. Asked for water with no ice “I’ll bring it later” - never appeared. Food delivered cool not hot but we had waited so long at that stage we just ate it. The excuse for some confusion about one order when delivered to the table was “you know that server doesn’t speak English”.
So this restaurant needs to up its service again. What a pity because its decor / ambience is very good. Food has been good in the past but it needs to be hot. (Eg Fries and steak frites).

I debated between 3 and 4 stars, ended up rounding up. The food here is nothing to get overly excited about. Overpriced for what you get ($18 for two eggs and some bacon, a DIY avocado toast board, etc). The quiche had a very nice deep corn flavor. The babaganoush was serviceable.

The service was very good though, and the atmosphere is very hip and chic.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is warm and cozy, and the service was decent. The appetizer was flavorful and enjoyable, but unfortunately, the entrees were a major letdown. I specifically asked for a dish that wasn’t sweet, and after being reassured that the pasta sauce I chose was the only savory option, I was disappointed to find it overwhelmingly sweet—so much so that I couldn’t eat it. Additionally, I ordered chicken as my protein and was surprised to find only a few tiny pieces, barely larger than the size of a fingernail. After all it didn't matter because it was uneatable, but still a point to be made.

Overall, while the ambiance and starters were pleasant, the experience with the main course was disappointing, and I expected better from a place with such potential.

I recently went to flair restaurant. and I noticed that my bus boy was the cutest little boy I've ever seen. I forgot his name exactly but it sounded similar to brant. I am just so happy to know that you guys hire the sweetest little boys to work at your restaurant.

I brought my sister for her birthday because of the cannoli tower that used to be on the menu. I mentioned that cannoli was her favorite dessert when I made the online reservation. Even though the tower was no longer on the menu, they made cannoli especially for her! I was surprised and delighted by this sweet gesture. The food and atmosphere were both great.

Vegetarian options: Noodles with vegetables and tofu were quite good. There are nice salad options as well.

The hummus is excellent, as is the beet salad. Chai tea latte was creamy and foamy. We tried to get the owner to move to Wilmington, NC, because it's a bit of a commute...
