Franklin Motors is a casual restaurant in Chapel Hill with a laid-back atmosphere and an adjoining permanent food truck. The ambiance is second to none on Franklin street, a super cool concept. The permanent food truck is also fantastic, with the cook being attentive and trying to perfect his craft. The French fries are insanely good. However, some customers have mentioned that the food truck options are not extensive and there is a requirement to order using a QR code. Prices are a bit steep for what it is, with $10 for a bowl of Mac n cheese and $13 for three sliders. While the beer is still good and the staff friendly, the permanent food truck can bomb it, with food arriving over 45 minutes after ordering. The warm tent was so nice and made it worth being outside on a colder night. There is parking directly behind the restaurant, but it does have to be paid for.
