I should have looked at the reviews. They indeed do not serve ramen, even though their name is Genji Ramen

The food was good and there was a great selection. The staff were all friendly. The prices are very fair. My only note is that if I had not gone with people who already knew how to order I would have been confused.

As another person pointed out, it’s called “Genji Ramen” and they don’t serve ramen.

They don't serve ramen at here anymore, like at all Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler

Named genji ramen but doesn't even serve ramen. Got a pan Asian bowl instead of teriyaki shrimp. All bland steamed vegetables and shrimp still had shell pieces and veins. Also it was $14Man serving was very kind at least

Really good Ramen. The only problem I had with them is, I drove from Burlington to get this Ramen and they were very rude to my 13yr old daughter. The good is very good, but they need to learn how to speak to customers.

Box of the Month is disappointing. Fish on the sushi does not smell - an encouraging sign - but both tuna and salmon sushi are very fishy passing the back of my nose. The rice is too dense and not enough vinegar. I know it is a review during covid AND it is offered through a grocery store, Whole Foods, but this deserves a solid 2 stars.

This rating is for sushi, not for ramen. We ordered through UberEats, thinking we were getting restaurant sushi. Our immediate response on seeing the packaging was "This looks like supermarket sushi" (pre-printed labels on each container etc.). When we felt how the cold the sushi was, clearly having sat in a fridge for hours, our concern heightened. And when we then tasted, our take was "BAD supermarket sushi" (though, to be fair, we are not experts in supermarket sushi). If you already know (as we now do) that this is a store within Whole Foods, then all this may be beside the point. And maybe you like supermarket sushi, or think our rating unfair relative to other supermarket sushi. But wanted to be sure to get the word out to anyone checking the place out for delivery orders - am quite sure they can do better.

Yummy ramen! Maybe not as good as you might get in a real ramen shop but pretty tasty. Fast, easy and relatively cheap. Defintely a big step up from instant ramen. FYI, this place is inside the Whole Foods Market.

Recently found Genji (in the back corner of Whole Foods) for the first time, and it is outstanding. Courteous service that is very nice, and appreciated, but even more impressive: the bowl of Spicy Vegetable Ramen. Delicious! I just finished my second helping (couldn't eat it all in one sitting) and can't wait to go back for more. Yum, yum, yum!

I must admit that it was a challenge to find an authentic Ramen location to enjoy some good noodles. Genji was decent in relation to taste and overall aesthetics of the dish. It's in a Whole Foods market so do not expect any ambience; however, if you have a craving for Ramen, check it out.

Sushi starts at 8 a.m., ramen doesn't start until around 10.

If you're looking for some warm broth, this'll get you there. Low variety, vegetarian options are not impressive, and we had to add sriracha as spice levels were lower than expected. Additionally, the ingredient quality was not as high as we hoped. Still, it was filling and can satisfy a craving, but if you're looking for authentic ramen, you will be disappointed.

A bit pricey compared to other ramen places we've been elsewhere in the country, but still very good ramen, and the only option if you live in Chapel Hill and don't want to struggle with parking in Durham. Tonkotsu was excellent, yuzu chicken a bit bland. Will certainly be back to try the other options!
