Really like the big restaurant in Durham, but this little place is great add! It’s so convenient in the morning for a cup of coffee with a wonderful bun, croissant or tart! great service! such friendly guys working! The coffee is made quickly and very tasty! It's just a pity that they don't have at least a few tables outside.

Delicious fresh bakery. Good atmosphere. I'm always on the lookout for a good croissant, and this was pretty good! Best I've had in chapel Hill for sure.

The facility is very clean and hip/modern with a vintage style. The bread harkens back to a simpler time with quality ingredients and friendly service.

Try the ham and cheese Pretzel!!

Maybe stop being selective in enforcing the policy of holding tables. Will not return to this establishment. Do better management.

Absolutely love stopping by for the ham and cheese croissant (they’re big!) and the awesome latte flavors, like the seasonal s’mores latte.

So many options for sweets/bakery items, great service!! We told ourselves we weren’t gonna get any treats and we just wanted coffee…

*Best oatmeal cookie my boyfriend’s ever had - and he’s an oatmeal cookie connoisseur.

We’re from out of town and I’m glad we chose this spot to stop at!

I’m thrilled that Guglhupf is open again after the flood and just in time to celebrate a birthday with their delicious lemon raspberry cake and chocolate croissants. Ordering on line was so easy and pick up even easier. I also stocked up on rolls and bread, enjoyed coffee and a cinnamon schneke (yes, that’s a thing you must try) and took home their delicious biscotti. I will be going back regularly and you should, too. They have new treats to try!

I went for the pumpernickel, I stayed for the schnecken!

I love the effort my local coffee shop has put into using compostable lids made with no plastic.

But, they get so soggy (like those paper straws do) that after a couple of sips I want to remove it or just stop drinking from it.

As we try to be more eco-friendly, how do we innovate while preserving the product experience that compelled a purchase in the first place?

In this case, I don’t know if there are better materials that can be tested and used instead - or whether they can cater to an in person experience by using ceramic coffee mugs - but something has to happen.
