I cannot recommend the ice cream or cookiewiches to anyone with dietary restrictions.
Finished up a phone call with a guy at the store tonight who said that he doesn’t change ice cream scoopers between scoops. For anyone with peanut allergies, this means that you cannot eat ANY of the ice cream here despite some of the ice creams being labeled with peanut allergens and the others not. For anyone with gluten allergies, you cannot eat ANY of the ice creams here either. For me, the staff combined the peanut and the cookies and cream ice cream for the ice cream sandwich despite the combo being for cookie dough and cookies and cream and for just plain peanut being for the other one. This resulted in an inability to eat an entire ice cream due to dietary restrictions in the household.
After some argument where the employee claimed something about gluten being a form of dairy, we did get refunded for the one ice cream, but cleaning a scooper should be standard practice when scooping from a potential allergen containing ice cream into one without it.
Additionally, staff should be careful to ensure that they are scooping the correct combinations—if one order is with gluten free cookies and a gluten free ice cream with peanuts and the other is with peanut free cookies and a peanut free ice cream with gluten, you shouldn’t mix the peanut ice cream with the gluten ice cream in the same cup.
1/5 stars for the cross contamination problem, but +1 for at least refunding us for the one ice cream. I’m just hoping that different gloves were used and proper precautions were taken for the gluten free cookies now, but my body will find out in the coming hours.
TLDR: if you are going to label something with an allergy and not label something else with that allergy but still cross contaminate, you are going to harm someone if they don’t realize it ahead of time, and this employee does not seem to understand that nor does he seem to understand what gluten is.

Daniel and Flynn were absolutely amazing! We ordered cookies for delivery through the website, and they were delivered to the wrong address. I called the store, Daniel picked up, and they kindly explained that the order had been assigned to a 3rd party delivery service. They immediately refunded our order, and after placing another order they assured it would be delivered by their driver. Flynn showed up soon after with our warm cookies and the two of them turned what would have been a 1-star review into a 5-star review!

The vegan cookies are quite good! But they sometimes sell out :( I reccomend pickup rather than delivery because it can take quite a long time.

I dont usually leave good reviews but the customer service was on point. The worker kept a good conversation and helped me and my friends choose an item even though we were talking a long time. The work was a dude with glasses and dirty blonde hair. He was clocked in at like 9:00 Sunday March 10th.

Good spot for a quick dessert.
Only complaints are (1) alway seem to run out of their special cookie, and (2) many of us want them to bring back their non-dairy ice cream option.
Other than that, I’ll stick with our “old faithful” choices of oatmeal cookie for my wife and chocolate chunk for me.
Parking: Weekends, it can get difficult to find parking, due to Katy’s Bar customers utilizing Insomnia Cookie’s parking slots.
